Hi there.. There are some issues and bugs..
Before you give any update, please check it from IE10. If you go to penpalwoo.com you will see how messy it looks in Internet Explorer 10. Here is a screenshot..

Please do check the screenshots (specially screenshots of 2) for the issue.

1. How I can choose default value for frontpage search box? Check the screenshot at http://db.tt/btb3VbAL it shows blank.. And How I can arrange or short the fields? I mean, I want to bring the ‘I am’ field at top and the ‘age’ field and bottom just like your demo version..
2. In IE10, no sidebars, no circle function and no transparent… all messy.. it looks like http://db.tt/2wWP39r0 and http://db.tt/OntKDz6s ,
Circle function of images and transparent function of sticky menu is not working in IE10. As far I know, to work with transparent, we need to give different code. Sample: For all browser “opacity:0.4” and for IE8+ “filter:alpha(opacity=40)”..
3. And do you have any idea why this happen? Often when I do anything or refresh any page, it shows something like this > http://db.tt/8hk5L4n2 and I have to refresh again to bring the page. Is it any big issue or nothing or what? I heard wordpress is having big issues with hackers..
4. How I can change the icon/images (or the shortcode)?
The pic (in homepage) of ‘Members In Total’ shows heart.. I need to change that and others as it is not dating sie.. (in homepage)
5. It is okay to show ‘match percentage’ but I need to remove the heart icon from ‘match percentage’ image in profile.. I guess, you told we can remove or modify ‘dating function’.. but I how? If not possible to remove the heart icon, I need to completely remove the match function..
6. In the page section from back-end admin, there is no ‘home’ page. But I can edit the home page after clicking the ‘Edit Page’ from top bar of front-end home page.. Please give suggestion about this.. Please do check at http://db.tt/USoTkmOw and http://db.tt/mXuiiN5Z .
7. In profile section (front-end), I want to show ‘about me’ info by default in top blue box (same as your demo version).. Now, it don’t show any info without clicking. People have to click on the specific button and then it shows the information..
8. When I try to insert any shortcode from ‘sweetdate shortcode’ button/icon of the editor, it open a lightbox but everything white. Check the screenshot at http://db.tt/NM8uKn7r ,
The same thing happen every time when I click ‘add media’ or such button that create popup lightbox…
9. When I tried to upload image from (front-end) buddypress album and avatar upload, it shows white (blank) page after while.. But when I uploaded a very small image (icon) to test, it worked. If the upload don’t support medium or large image, it should show warning instead of going white… Please help me out.. Image size was 2560px X 1440px (0.98mb).. It should upload and reduce the size or at least should show the max upload limit with warning.. I should be able to set the limit.. Is it possible and how?
10. I have installed godaddy ssl, but when I go to https://www.penpalwoo.com/ it shows warning the there are some script which can be harmful (in chrome) and ‘The Connection Is Untrusted’ in firefox.. What you suggest?

Note: To test, I have used both chrome and firefox when these issues arrives. Not sure about IE10 except the messy & sidebar issues.. I am using Windows 7, IE10, Google Chrome version 27.0.1453.116 and Firefox version 19.0.2.

Last thing, if some solution is not possible right now, you can also tell me which (back-end) coding file to edit step by step..

@sqadmin,
as you told it is okay in IE10, did you check the member and blog section (not just the homepage)?
If the pages with sidebar is really working perfectly in IE10, can you (and others) please check http://www.penpalwoo.com/members/SysMaster/ from Internet Explorer 10 and also my given screenshot; you will understand what is the actual issue..

ow..! it is really strange.. I have just done some research.. I believe, you are using windows 8, right? My is win 7.
My IE10 version is:
Version: 10.0.9200.16521;
Update Versions: RTM (KB2718695);
Product ID: 00150-2….+
Release Date: 26 February..

Yours is different and I found the release date June 13.. It is cumulative security update for Internet Explorer.. But this should not be any reason for any issues. There must be some reason that in my version, the site is looking wired http://db.tt/OntKDz6s as I told you already. However.. I will try to find out some facts and will let you know.. Little or partially older version must not be the reason.. Okay… let me check again..

And, please try to sort out the remaining issues..

we are releasing an update 1.3.1 today or max tommorow with some fixes that include this one too

1. Right now it is not taking a default value. We will see if its possible in this recent update.

2. Should be ok after the update.

3. WordPress is pretty secure. Maybe it is something from your server.
4. It accepts an image atribute, like this image=”scr_to_image”

5. To completely remove the matching:

6. You have pagination there …

7. In sweetdate-child/functions.php you need to uncomment a function there

8. If you use Firefox check with firebug the console for errors.

9. We tried that and receive: The file you uploaded is too big. Please upload a file under 5 MB.
Might be something from your server

10. Try speaking at godaddy. I can’t see why shoud be an issue with the theme

Before submitting your issues please search for existing topics in the forum and make sure it is indeed a problem with the theme.

Can you please make the main navigation position from right instead of centered. I mean, if there is only 3 or 4 menu, it centered in the page.. And please tell me once you give the update.. And after update, do I have to upload the parent theme or child them or both?

Menu it designed to stay that way for the moment.
When you update you need to change parent theme. Child theme contains your changes
1) In v.14 which is gonna be released tomorrow we included support for default values in search form

I guess, you haven’t updated the v1.4 yet, right? Is it going to take more long time or fewer?

And, the issue of “9.” has been solved. Now I don’t see any white pop-up box.

And last thing, can you say me how I can hide the album tab from buddypress profile page? I tried by css user-album – display – none.. But I guess, you use any different code or something? Please tell me how I can hide a tab and/or which file to edit?

I am experiencing the same problem as described in # 8:
Only a blank white window pops up as I try to insert shortcodes. My Firebug returned these errors:

Yes, I am using the child theme. I already run a site on norskmodell.no, so I had to install your theme on a subfolder called wordpress. I will then move it to the root of norskmodell.no when I am finished setting it up.

Seems like php files can’t be accessed even they exists. Has to be something miss configured on your install… maybe the htaccess is restricting acces to them or something from the server

Ok, any suggestions on how I can fix this? Or at least how I can try to find the problem causing it? I don’t even know where to start looking…..I tried removing all content in the htaccess file, without any impact, so I just pasted it back in.

I tried changing from 664 to 775 on all files in the shortcodes folder in framework, the folders in it already has 755. But it did not help. Thank you anyway though, for your suggestion. I guess I will just have to use your theme without using any shortcodes :-/

hi there,
I just checked rtmedia.. It is not working in your new version after giving option to hide buddypress album tab… In profile tab http://www.penpalwoo.com/members/SysMaster/media/ it shows 404.
But in previous version of the theme, rtmedia was working great; just the issue was to remove or hide default album tab.. Now it is possible, but the media tab of rtmedia is showing 404. May be something is conflicting with your new option or something else.

Please let me know what to do..
