AfrosteinParticipant
Please close this topic. I found the fix.
Once you update to the new PaymentPro I guess you have to “activate” it again even though it says it’s already activated. I went into the plugin edit portion and hit “update file” then clear cache and the Membership tab came back.
AfrosteinParticipantHi Abe,
Thanks followed the link and added the code. It still does not let Add my own benefits features like Live Chat. It’s the same as before accept this code added the Store and Messages features. The Messages features does not allow me to restrict access. It asks the question when I select “yes” there is no drop down menu like the other features offer. Solution?
AfrosteinParticipantHi Robert,
How do we get to the footer.php to apply this code you made:
<script>
jQuery(document).ready(function() {
jQuery(“#item-nav .item-list-tabs a”).each(function() {
jQuery(this).attr(‘href’,jQuery(this).attr(‘href’)+”#item-nav”);
});
});
</script>2nd Issue. When I click on that link for your “updated code” nothing happens. Still on this page.
Thanks.
AfrosteinParticipantHello, WP changed the interface. I found the “delete” button. You have to click the theme and now the button is at the bottom right hand of the screen…
But still would like to know the answer to not using tech support to solve this issue…I’ll probably make the same mistake with my cut and pasting 🙂
AfrosteinParticipantHello Anchora (or Abe if you answer)
I’m having a hard time with re-installing the Sweet Date. This issue has happened twice:
1) I cut and past some code into php.function editor (most of the time going great)
2) I get a Parsing error message, this time:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘:’ in /hermes/walnaweb01a/b1859/moo.datedebatescom/wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/functions.php on line 46
3) Site crashes and I can’t log in to fix it. I have to contact my hosting company. (takes hours sometimes to get it fixed) They say I cannot edit the theme or log into my wpress through ftp to reset the theme. True?
4. They log into my wpress account set the theme to default and I have to upload the Child theme again. This time though it keeps saying “can’t upload file already exist”) Do I need to delete the 2 current Child themes that show in my WPAdmin section? If so, how do I do that? (will I lose all my work?)
I have 2 questions:
a) How do I get my theme uploaded again?
b) Is there a way to fix this without wasting time with the tech support?Thank you!
AfrosteinParticipantHi Abe,
How do we edit the language that appears in the blue Sign Up Box on the homepage that reads:
“Registering for this site is easy, just fill in the fields below and we will get a new account set up for you in no time.”
This same language appears on Create an Account Page. When I go into Pages > Create an Account I don’t see anything when I hit text or visual. My permalink for that page ends with:
/create-an-account-2
Is there a way for me to edit the language in both of these sections? Thanks.
AfrosteinParticipantThank you. I did that but it just takes me back to the home page. I set buddy Register to “Create An Account” page and “Activate to “Activate”…correct way?
When someone signs up or hits the “Join Us For Free” I’d like this page to show :
Create Account Page like the one in the demo on Themeforest that you have
I have already customized the profile fields that I want to be required. Any advice?
AfrosteinParticipantHello,
I accidentally deleted the Create an Account page. How can I get it back? (or the code so I create another “Create an Account” page)
Thanks,
