February 24, 2015 at 05:25 in reply to: Linking KLEO pop up login screen to custom made image. #47370AbracadabraParticipant
Sorry, I still dont know how to set it up.
So im in revolution slider on my slide, I have chosen my layer which happens to be an image which I want to link to that pop up log in, where exactly do i enter this text?
[kleo_restrict type="guest"][kleo_button title='Login' style='see-through kleo-show-login' icon='desktop' tooltip_position='left' tooltip_action='hover' size='lg' href='#'][/kleo_restrict]
Is it somewhere in :
– Layer General Parameters
+ Layer Animation
+ Layer Links & Advanced ParamsI simply dont know where to enter that text, when I just set up a new non-image layer I enter it in text/html window in general parameters and it works with KLEO original icon. However when I enter that text on a layer with image in that window it does not work.

February 15, 2015 at 05:23 in reply to: Updatin Kleo to Newest version – issue with automatic update option. #46129AbracadabraParticipantCan you be more specific please, I do not see it anywhere.
AbracadabraParticipantWhat is odd is that on Ipad it works horizontally but not vertically, my mobile is android and on it, it does not show at all. You are right however this must be wp issue.
AbracadabraParticipantYes the do but they are not “live” i have to refresh the page for new things to show up. They do work properly on new kleo menu however.
Getting back to my other question, i think this is important for Kleo, how do people set up login/register once they delete original wordpress bar? I think it would make sense to have a ready solution for that out of the box. I like Kleo a lot in terms of its overall offering, but its too much stuff that is thrown into one big thing. Ideally you would have it separated into 3 different offerings which are customized, lets say community, porftolio for pictures and ecommerce, each one having unique download that is only relevant to that type of a site. Everybody setting up a community is going to have to deal with login/register on front page, someone just posting pictures or doing ecommerce probably not, but they are all different, and as is now you either download everything, which is way too much stuff, vs not knowing what exactly to download, or trying to figure out how to set up a feature that should already be there because its relevant to everyone else buying the theme.
AbracadabraParticipantthat makes perfect sense, but its hard to believe WP would have a glitch such as that.
January 29, 2015 at 21:35 in reply to: How to delete Kleo Demo Data and go back to basic Kleo download? #43997AbracadabraParticipantI tried, but ended up deleting the whole website and starting from scratch.
AbracadabraParticipantWhat I was interested in was enabling those notifications to show up on default wp admin bar, but it does not seem that it is possible. I realize that I can create a new menu and put things on it, but If I create a new menu, then I have to get rid of the admin bar as I cant have 2 bars on top of each other. But let say I create a new menu and get rid of default admin bar all together, how do I deal with my start up page and Login/Register. Do I need to create my own bar with page name/logo and http links to login/register on it? I know that I can use kleo button for log in in the middle of the page, but that is very small, hard to see. How do people generally go about solving this?
AbracadabraParticipantThere is a much easier way to write these things up for an end user, without showing confusing pictures to begin with.
AbracadabraParticipantOK so now I enabled it, I have a Kleo section with login, logout, register, live notifications and my account bubbles. I check off live notifications and there is no way to save this setting.
“Kleo – Live Notifications
You can add the Live BuddyPress notification item to the menu from Appearance – Menus – KLEO section. To have this option available you must have BuddyPress installed and Buddypress Notifications module active(from Settings – BuddyPress)”I dont have the select menu to edit (kleonavmenu(primary menu). I only have create a new menu in that place.
Again, why is everything so unclear with KLEO, no direct steps on how to do things from the beginning, it might be a great end product, but documentation is sub par to say the least.
AbracadabraParticipantthats the problem i dont have that on my screen, there is no screen options on top right
AbracadabraParticipantThis is what I see in that screen

It actually does not work on mobile, when i click it it lights up but log in screen does not show up. It works fine on PC and Ipad. The text on admin bar also does not show up on mobile, not sure why that is.
I like the admin bar because it looks good for me with the black and white pictures that I have on the slider, and also inside, there I only have a website name-description and all the way to the right Hello, Name avatar and when clicked a drop down shows up, thats exactly how I want it. Using different plug ins i disabled dashboard access for non-admin, they only see name and description.

Is it possible to link the Login button on admin menu to Kleo pop up, have some people done that? Perhaps set up some redirect from login button url to something that would trigger the pop up? I think I might have a plug in to do that, but I dont know what to redirect to for the pop up to show up.January 22, 2015 at 01:20 in reply to: Is there a way to integrate Login Screen into front page, eliminating login page #42980AbracadabraParticipantthanks, unfortunately that code and others I found, do not delete login/register, when added to php functions.
January 21, 2015 at 22:23 in reply to: Is there a way to integrate Login Screen into front page, eliminating login page #42969AbracadabraParticipantI have been searching for few hrs and nothing regarding hiding BB login/register on the bar, no plug ins either, its easy to hide site’s name using some plug ins, but nothing for hiding login and register. It seems that the entire bar has to hidden, which is not an option for me. I think all people using KLEO log ins must all be hiding that somehow off the bar.
Regarding using my own button/image for that Kleo Log in link, could you tell me exactly how/where to upload it and what to put in text/html to change it, I cant figure that out.
January 21, 2015 at 03:17 in reply to: Is there a way to integrate Login Screen into front page, eliminating login page #42830AbracadabraParticipantThe remaining problem is regular login button on my admin bar which still takes users to buddypress separate screen.
January 21, 2015 at 03:09 in reply to: Is there a way to integrate Login Screen into front page, eliminating login page #42829AbracadabraParticipantGreat thanks! I got it to work. I was able to take out the desktop icon out of the by typing in “none”
How can I change font size and color on that text however? When I change style to something else it still stays in white and same size.

I posted this code in theme functions php and nothing showed up. Im pretty clueless on all of this.
January 20, 2015 at 21:37 in reply to: Is there a way to integrate Login Screen into front page, eliminating login page #42811AbracadabraParticipantAlso when I go to edit menus, I dont have the KLEOnavmenu there as an option as shown on your screenshot for another way to do this. Does that come automatically with download, or do I need to do something extra?
January 20, 2015 at 21:32 in reply to: Is there a way to integrate Login Screen into front page, eliminating login page #42810AbracadabraParticipantI created the widget sidebar and added it, the problem which I have now is that I cant place it in the middle of my picture in the slider, it either goes above or below it. Is there a way to place that widget as a new layer on top of my picture?
AbracadabraParticipantUnfortunately there is no way for me to disable caching on the server. That must be the reason for it not working as I have everything right. Is there any other way to do this that you know of?
AbracadabraParticipantI have the code in child, theme is active, not sure about caching enabled, can you tell me where to do that?
So this code will make it impossible to have facebook login?AbracadabraParticipantYes that is what I am trying to accomplish, ideally after log in I would like the next page to be members/(username) so they would be taken to their own profile page and not members page as that shows all members, my friends etc… that does not look good as main screen.
I tried this code, leaving activity as is and then changing that to members. I changed the setting to reload current page as well. After log in screen, it still reverts back to slider page. Am I doing something wrong?

}AbracadabraParticipantthe HomeFullwidth slider is not available in the revolution slider folder to download.
This is a mess, have truly not encountered a 5 star reviewed product such as this before.AbracadabraParticipantI basically get a blank page when I do that.
The end product might be good, but its very user unfriendly. Again, something I did not expected from reading all the 5 star comments.
Thanks for your helpAbracadabraParticipantthanks, that solved the error issue, but why would RTMedia not be compatible with this?
