I too want to do the same as evolvebsa i.e. increase the size of the pictures in the members’ directory.
Presumably, I would replace the 115/115 and the 106/110 values in the css with my desired values. However, I am confused by the two sets of dimensions in the your css. Which is the size of the displayed picture: 115×115 or 106×110? For example, if I want the displayed pic to be 200×200, then what should I insert in place of 115×115 and what should I insert in place of 106×110?I followed the instructions give in the post that I referred to. Using filezilla I downloaded the following from my server,edited it and then uploaded it back to its location in the server – wp-content/plugins/bp-custom.php. I didn’t purge my websites cache, CDN and browser cache because I don’t know how to do that. Can you advise me on that, please.
The problem seems to have magically resolved itself!! The home page now displays correctly with development mode OFF i.e. the same as with development mode ON.
So, should I install Super Cache and leave development mode switched OFF?
By “turn off cache at your server” do you mean at cPanel? I can’t see anything about Settings General or Cache at cPanel. And in the WordPress control panel there are no caching or optimising plug-ins in the list of installed plug-ins.

Thanks for that Laura. I get it. But here’s the thing. Minification is not supposed to change the functioning of the program, right? But with my site the website appearance changes (for the worse) when I switch from Development Mode On to Development Mode Off. Let me explain ….
On my home page I have an image background set in the top section. With Development Mode ON, that background image extends all the way to the top of the screen, even appearing as background to the header, which is how I want the website to display the home page. (The normal header background is not visible).
However, with Development Mode OFF, the normal header background is visible and the top section background image is visible only below the header. That is not how I want my website to display the home page.
So, how do I get the Development Mode OFF display of my website home page to be the same as the Development Mode ON display i.e. with the top section background image extending into the (entire) header. Can anyone solve that conundrum?
