Sorry, Laura…the private message above was to go to the other query you are working on for me. I’ve reposted it to the proper posting.
ginigarbickParticipantHi…I don’t see header.php in child theme, only the main theme. Do you mean the functions.php?
ginigarbickParticipantScratch that….the video embed works in IE, but not Chrome. Is there a workaround to enable viewing on every browser?
Thanks again!
GiniginigarbickParticipantHi….I was able to identify the main culprit as being Visual Composer. Once I deactivated that plug-in, my icons worked again.
I’m still unable to get my KLEO video embed to work, however – even after deactivating all of my plug-ins.
My site link is https://www.everygirlneedsagay.net/
Please let me know if you need to access via admin.
Thank you!
GiniginigarbickParticipantAnd also VERY IMPORTANT…the PROFILE button, doesn’t work with VC on or off. It redirects to the 404 page.
So…just the commercial and the profile button. I’ll figure out the rest.
Thanks again!
GiniginigarbickParticipantI am JUST NOW catching on that VC doesn’t play well with Sweet Date. So I need to not use VC, correct? Just stick with the KLEO editing functions?
I’m happy to send VC packing. I just want to make sure that I won’t be disrupting anything by doing so.
PLEASE help me with my commercial configuration (home page) and I promise to leave you alone for a while.
Thank you again for EVERYTHING!
ginigarbickParticipantI found the culprit in mine! It’s the WPBakery Visual Composer. I deactivated it, and my social icons and secondary icons reappeared! It did not fix the issue with my commercial, however….so please continue to assist with that, if you can.
It’s saying that there is an update available, but when I try to update it I receive the following error:
Error! Envato API error.
Is this anything you are familiar with? I know it as the distribution (Envato) level…I’m just hoping that you may have seen this before and can point me in the direction I need to go.
Thanks again!

GiniginigarbickParticipantMy host provider found the following kink in the hose:
[30-Aug-2015 18:17:45 UTC] PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘2’ (T_LNUMBER), expecting variable (T_VARIABLE) or ‘$’ in /home/ginigarb/public_html/everygirlneedsagay/wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/functions.php on line 28
Whatever happened wiped out my entire site. PLEASE HELP!
