ParticipantYeah sure π
But I was just hoping there was a plugin for it, or another easy way to do it.
Because almost all community websites has this function πSeptember 29, 2017 at 21:56 in reply to: Problems with new version – Profiles not showing at all #175213hejms
ParticipantSure ^^

ParticipantOh okay, that’s too bad!
I’ll try to work it out, and get back to you. πSeptember 25, 2017 at 03:52 in reply to: Problems with new version – Profiles not showing at all #174679hejms
ParticipantHi, sorry it’s taken so long to write back, but I had to look at all the different files and see if there’s any difference and that took forever!
(And I haven’t had so much time, but now I know to make sure I write down any changes I make!)
πBut I’ve gotten into a small problem.
The file multiple-sidebars.php (located at framework/classes/)
is version 1.1.1 but for some reason the file I have changed is version 1.1.0 so it’s very hard to know what changes I’ve actually made! Can you maybe send me a version of that original file in version 1.1.0 so I can see what changes I have made?
Kind regards

ParticipantHi again π
I tried what you said, but you can’t see any profiles with the updated version.
When you press either your own profile or another, you can only see the comments from the whole site,
and not anything from the profile.I really can’t put it in maintenance right now, so I’ll put it back to the old version.
But if you can look if I’ve done it the right way, I’ll appreciate it! π
(And if I have, what I’m doing wrong then π )Kind regards

ParticipantWell, it isn’t updated right now, and it isn’t possible the next few days. π
I just need to know if it’s “plugins/buddypress/members” or “themes/sweetdate-child/buddypress/members”, and then I’ll try in a few days π
But I’ll get back to you with the ftp-access and such, when it’s possible. π
Thanks in advance!
HenrikSeptember 7, 2017 at 20:50 in reply to: Problems with new version – Profiles not showing at all #172910hejms
ParticipantThere’s already a folder called Buddypress inside the Plugins folder.
Is it there I should put the folders ? π
Like Plugins/buddypress/members
and Plugins/buddypress/single
?Or is it in the Themes/Sweetdate-child/
that you want me to create a folder called buddypress and then move the folders there? π
(Like Themes/sweetdate-child/buddypress/membersSorry if I’m a bit slow right now π
hejms
ParticipantThank you, that works!
The problem was that I went into “Appearance – Customize” and then put the text into widgets in there.
And that didn’t work. But this method works, thank you π
hejms
ParticipantOkay but where exactly should I write these?
If I write them inside the plugin, the ad shows, but there’s also the text “[membership level=”0,2″]” before the ad, and “[/membership]” after the ad.And if I write anything in the text-widget it just says error, and nothing works.

February 19, 2017 at 23:30 in reply to: Suddenly the login jumps to wordpress login + Picture uploads automatically #153461hejms
ParticipantOkay fair enough π
But thanks for the help π
hejms
ParticipantYeah that was the plugin I found, but that doesn’t hide the ads automatically like the plugin Paid Memberships Pro were talking about π
But I tried to use your code inside the plugin, but it doesn’t work. It shows the ads for all membership users (all ID’s).
I then tried to write it into the Text/HTML widget, but it just says “Error occurred. Please reload the page and try again” and it doesn’t save the code inside it.

ParticipantHmm weird.
Then there’s actually not that much reason to change your WordPress Log in page URL,
as WP Security recommends?February 15, 2017 at 18:39 in reply to: Suddenly the login jumps to wordpress login + Picture uploads automatically #153140hejms
ParticipantI think maybe I solved it by using the plugin “Peter’s Redirect” so all users are redirected to the front page, when they log in or log out.
However, when you hold your mouse over the log out-button, you can see my admin-address with “?action-logout” and so on added to it.
Is there a way to make sure they can’t see that? πFebruary 15, 2017 at 14:33 in reply to: Suddenly the login jumps to wordpress login + Picture uploads automatically #153123hejms
ParticipantHi again!
One of my friends are also on my site, and apparently something is happening again.
I’ve disallowed all dashboard access with the plugin “Remove Dashboard Access”,
but when my friend presses “log out” on her mobile on my site, it tells her that she isn’t allowed on the web-address where admins log into the wordpress-dashboard!So she can’t see anything because she isn’t an admin, but she now knows the secret address!
Of course she won’t use that information, but others could if they see the same..
Do you have any idea what could be wrong?Kind regards
Henrikhejms
ParticipantHi Radu.
Sorry for the delay!Yeah it’s the same on default theme, but I got a answer from RtMedia (sort of).
It isn’t possible as such to hide the folder with css, but you can change something in a file to do it.
It’s only possible really though if you buy one of their add-ons for 49 dollars. But it’s resolved now, so thank you for the help π
hejms
ParticipantYeah, I asked at their forum too, but they haven’t come up with an answer yet π
I tried to edit RTmedia.php and removed all notice of “Wall Posts”, and put it in sweetdate-child/rtmedia, but it didn’t change anything.
I read somewhere in this forum, that you should put rtmedia-files there if you wanted to change them,
but maybe this file should be put somewhere else?I hope it’s possible to do it some way, because it looks very weird to have that album π
If it isn’t possible, do you have a suggestion to another good media/picture-plugin? π
January 23, 2017 at 15:44 in reply to: Breadcrumb quick profile navigation CSS + CSS for putting picture above tabs #150508hejms
ParticipantThe first one worked perfectly, thank you! π
The second one will probably take som work to make it fit like I want, but now I got a way to start.
Thank you very much πJanuary 22, 2017 at 23:16 in reply to: “Add friend”-button looks weird, when searching for profiles. #150457hejms
ParticipantOh well, I found a way to hide the button instead.
I tried that too before, but that also removed the button inside the profile.
But this way it’s only hidden in the members directory πSo it isn’t so critical anymore, but if you have an idea why the button looked weird,
I would like to hear it, if I want to have the button there in the future πhejms
ParticipantIn this picture there’s two albums.
One I made myself, and “Wall posts”.
As I understand it, it takes pictures from the wall (apparently all profiles on the site?)hejms
ParticipantI changed the name in the registration page and that works, so the problem is solved now π

January 20, 2017 at 15:50 in reply to: “Add friend”-button looks weird, when searching for profiles. #150312hejms
ParticipantSadly, that didn’t do any difference π
hejms
ParticipantWell actually it didn’t π
By a coincidence three users in a row chose their username as display name,
so I thought it worked, but then two other users registered who used their own name. But maybe I can just write something in the registration that remind people to choose their username as display name?
January 19, 2017 at 07:07 in reply to: Suddenly the login jumps to wordpress login + Picture uploads automatically #150184hejms

Hopefully it was just a weird error and it’s gone now, but I’ll write again,
if I see it again πJanuary 17, 2017 at 05:18 in reply to: “Add friend”-button looks weird, when searching for profiles. #149961hejms

ParticipantNo, I don’t have any captcha-plugins π
I’ve checked my security plugins, and there shouldn’t be anywhere that I’ve enabled captcha.
(But I’ll look again)Ah yes, someone mentioned that to me, and that seemed to be the case, thank you π
hejms
ParticipantWell yes, but is there a way to do it automatically?
Or else I have to do it every time somebody joins the site π -
