I was planning to use the work around you suggested, the only problem with that is that I am constantly adding new testimonials to the list and when you use the offset to show a specific one, it takes the numbering from the top. In other words, if I have 20 testimonials and I choose to show testimonial number 2, then as soon as I add another testimonial to the list (creating 21 testimonials in total), then the shortcode will show my previous number 1 testimonial on the list (if that makes sense). This means that every time I add a testimonial I would have to go through each one of my sales pages manually updating the numbering on each one of my shortcodes. And I haven’t really got enough hours in the day to run my business as it is… 🙂
