Hi,
hope you had a lovely Christmas holiday πYes, the code is in the form you mentioned, sorry for not being very clear.
Anyway, the codes work ok, so I am closing the ticket π
Thanks a lot!
hotloverspassionParticipantHi Laura,
thanks a lot for your help. I have done some changes to the css to my liking and it looks much better now! THANKS A LOT!
Just one more question. At some fields there are no specific classes so I copied css selector but the codes looks like this:
.su-spoiler-content > div:nth-child(1) > div:nth-child(1) > form:nth-child(1) > div:nth-child(1) > div:nth-child(51)
Is this ok to use or would it be better to use different code? I also tried to use attribute selector but it didn’t work for me.
Thank you for an advice πhotloverspassionParticipantThanks for your reply. I have posted this issue in buddypress forum. Will see if they come back to me with an answer or not π
For now I have just written a note next to username and name and hope that my users will follow it πhotloverspassionParticipantHi,
I am back again. The horizontal form is giving me headache regarding styling. Could you please advice me on css?
I am trying to make my form to look like in the picture 1 attached. In my case, I am trying to move field “who wants to meet a” one line down, exactly under the field “I am looking for a”, fields “Age from” and “Age to” move on the next line etc… See picture 2. I tried several css, but nothing worked. What is the best way to move fields one line down like <br>?
To use margin-left: -548px; margin-top: 61px; for the “Who wants to meet a” field do the trick on my PC, but to use it seems a bit ridiculous to me as this would make the form completely out of the sync when viewing on smaller devices. When I tried to use display: block, nothing happened.
It also looks like there are too many columns in the form…could have 1 or 2 columns less.
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!

Will have to give you another great review for such an outstanding support πhotloverspassionParticipantRadu, can you please tell me what you changed? What code and file? When I applied one of my custom code in functions.php, I have the same issue and don’t know what to change to get rid of the number 46.
Thanks a lot!
Really appreciate your help πhotloverspassionParticipantThanks for a reply. I will play with it myself first and see if I get somewhere π
hotloverspassionParticipantAlso when the search returns with “Sorry, no members were found.” the bar (advanced search tab) disappears completely, so the users cannot continue with the search unless they return to previous page.
Thanks for your help
hotloverspassionParticipantHi montecci01,
sorry to hear that. The code still works for me, just checked it.
Did you put the code into functions.php?
Hope you’ll be able to sort it out πhotloverspassionParticipantJust having a silly thought…do you think that you can try this in Kleo theme and see if you run into the same problem? ( put age field into secondary group and do not fill it in and for age calculation use new buddypress date field ). I’m not sure if this would tell us something as I don’t really know how does Kleo theme work… what do you think? If the problem is only between SweetDate and buddypress, this could have prove it, couldn’t it?
hotloverspassionParticipantHi,
GeoMy WP guy doesn’t think that his plugin is causing the problem. When I deactivated and activated all the plugins including GeoMyWP, the problem remained. The only think I can think of is BuddyPress plugin as I remember a post when somebody mentioned that all their users were showing age 44 and the post was about 2 years ago. This problem wouldn’t happen if I had the age in my primary group ( As probably all people have so they don’t actually happen to run into this problem ) but unfortunately I cannot have it in my primary ( base ) group due to the couple members.
I am going to contact BuddyPress guys now and see. If you would think of anything else, let me know.
ThankshotloverspassionParticipantHi π
sorry, but I could not quite understand what you meant by “the advanced search i still just a quick addon but i will work on something better”hotloverspassionParticipantHi,
I have deactivated all of my plugins except buddypress and the problem remained. I also deactivated the child theme just to be certain, but still nothing…hotloverspassionParticipantHi π
1. I would like to divide my form into “sections”…you can see it in the picture ( I am a, Looking for, Type of relationship )…how can I achieve that? ( Picture 2 )
2. Is it also possible to change the view of the tabs the way, that the group name will not be inside the box but separate? There could be either βdashesβ or βSelectβ inside the tab. Please see ( Picture 3 )
Thanks π

actually I have already followed the steps in your mentioned post ( sorry for not being clear ) and got the same looking horizontal form just inside the toggle I can open and close. This is brilliant, but I would also like to change the look of the form…see my previous pictures.
Thanks a lot πOctober 27, 2016 at 09:13 in reply to: Check boxes on profile as drop-down on horizontal search ? #141627hotloverspassionParticipantHi,
I am looking for the same…have you sorted it out?
Anyone can help?
Thanks a lot πhotloverspassionParticipantHi Radu,
I sorted it out! Eventually! Ufff… The problem was with one of my code in style.css
Thanks again for your willingness to help and for your time. It’s very much appreciated!
All the best.
PetrahotloverspassionParticipantHi,
when I deactivated all plugins except buddypress, nothing happened. But when I deactivated child theme, it did a trick and the Lost password link appeared. I tried to delete my modified files from the child theme, but nothing changed so I uploaded them back. What else can I try?hotloverspassionParticipantHi,
I have found the solution, please check links below. To hide admin profile from members directory, search and widgets follow this link:
