KyndFellowParticipant
Ive reinstalled my backup copy for my website via FTP, and upgraded to BuddyPress 3. NFdates.com is back online. But much of the website is still missing. Including the users profiles and the pages.
Do you have any suggestions on how to restore these missing parts?
KyndFellowParticipant1) How could I update my Sweetdate website to BuddyPress 3 via FTP?
2) Should I delete my current NFdates.com by FTP, then reinstall it an older version over FTP that was working?I renamed the Plugins folder, but it didn’t fix my problem. If the above attempts don’t help, I will contact my host. There will be nothing else I can do.
KyndFellowParticipantKianran, thanks for the reply,
1) What do you mean rename /wp-content/plugins/ ? This is the folder where my plugin are stored. I installed my plugins from the “plugins” feature in Sweetdates. All plugins are stored in that folder when seen via FTP
2) Do I need to update WordPress 3 to resolve this?
3) I did update a plugin that makes new users need to be manually approved by admins. Because I had a problem with bots or hackers signing up with fake profiles. Should I delete that plugin by FTP?
4) I don’t see the point of contacting the host about this. HostGater’s website says NFdates.com is active, and my FTP says all my files are on their server. The only way that could have happen is a hacker logged in to wp-admin and deleted my files from their database. I don’t think I could restore those files.Dan
KyndFellowParticipantWP reCaptcha Integration is working on Admin login page, but not user login or sign up pages

I get an error when trying to login on the normal user Sweetdate sIgn-up and login page now, with its captcha appearing

Go ahead and try your phone to see for yourself
Do you have any other ideas?
KyndFellowParticipantShould I up date this WordPress Importer plugin. Will my SweetDate website be damaged or lost? Do you think it would solve my Facebook login problem?

I don’t see any relevant Facebook apps installed. Let give you my credentials, so you can inspect my setting:
KyndFellow
gogo2062My Facebook Login app was created before March. Why do you ask that? I uninstalled Facebook Login app, when this error started. I can still login with Facebook from my laptop without the error, but not on tablet and phone.
KyndFellowParticipantNever mind. I solved this. I just had to use the inline class “button large radius”. Thank you. I’ll let you know if I find anything else regarding CSS.
KyndFellowParticipantPlease tell me how to enlarge the Continue reading button on the front page too, with CSS for the Home (fronnt) page.
See how I need to enlarge my new “Tell Me More” button at the bottom of the homepage at NFdates.com
I want to make that now button the same size as the “Join for Free button on that page.

Can you give me the short code or HTML for that “Continue reading” button? I want to divide my BuddyPress posts into separate pages, and post that button right before <!–nextpage–>

2) How do I customize the words used in the options (for example, “Material Status” and order of the counteries listed)I’ll send screenshots

You must be logged in to view attached files.KyndFellowParticipantThank you. But this CSS is still effective for the “Compose” tab, which is also the screen the pops up when you click the “Private Message” button.
Specifically I want to enlarge the font size in the “Subject” form on this “Compose” page. I also want to enlarge the phrase “Send To (Username or Friend’s Name)” and words “subject” and “message”.
I will send screenshots of these, and the tabs your CSS did work on (Notices, Sent, Inbox).

You must be logged in to view attached files.KyndFellowParticipantI was wrong. “div#send-private-message” is not effective on all devices, not just cell phones.
But the problem is that the CSS is effective while logged out, and not effective while logged in.
So I need CSS for “div#send-private-message” that is effective while logged in, please.
KyndFellowParticipantdiv#friendship-button- {background:red;}
div#friendship-button- a {color:yellow !important;}div#send-private-message {background:green;}
div#send-private-message a {color:red !important;}________________________________________________________
The CSS codes you gave me works very well in tablets and cell phones. But “div#send-private-message” is not effective on PC/Mac
Can you please give CSS for “div#send-private-message”, which is effective on PC / Mac
See screenshot taken on my PC

KyndFellowParticipantThis doesn’t happen on the sweetdate demos, even if its cache. It happens on other browsers and my other 3 computers I’m testing. Ok, if its CSS, can you please give me other CCS to use?
