ok all sorted, now the text boxes to enter username and pwd take on the background image. Any way of making them white?

SO for instance that login block has a white background can i make it transparent so that it looks naturally like it’s part of the front page.
See attached image the background has a grey tone, i want to make it so the login block is just part of that rathes than a white block there.

Thanks Laura, is there no simpler way without a plugin? I literally only want to change the text above the comments box from ‘leave a reply’ to ‘leave your comments’ for all posts.

Thanks for confirming the above, i haven’t changed the header settings. Is this not a common problem, I’m just using the normal right sidepar tempalte?
How can i get around it? Can i add padding to the top of of the right side bar?
Also is the login in that sidebar Kleo or Buddypress?

It seems the facebook login button on the sidebar on my frontpage does nothing.
It only works when used via the login buttong on the menu, any ideas why?

ok thanks, thats very helpful, next question the pic of the page on ‘home default’ is that one of the page templates i can set as my landing page? Or ideally i’d like the ‘home simple’ page with the right sidebar with the facbook login and lastest posts section. how can i do that?

ok thanks, so how do i test amend like things how menus and pages look when i’m logged out. Do i have to keep logging out and back in? Sorry all very new to me.
