I don’t think is the plugin, if it is, the bottom icons will have issue but it’s fine going from left to right. So I think is the POST FORM area inside the box. I even using firebug css, no luck?

Can you try css using firebug to see?

The username is there once the member input their comments/message.

I can see where the code from the PHP, I just needed the actually code or scripts I can put it around it so it will have that link function to people’s profile.

Just like the sweetdate members is using some kind of code / scripts to click to people’s profile.

Yes, I did looked all over in the Editing sweetdate-child/style.css AND quick.css

I even checked most of the ccs files and even js files for the body tag 390, I even search by find, no luck it got to be hiding somewhere because it also showing and works on firebug, but it doesn’t work on any CSS ?

Please advice the page, I even looked at the header.php, no luck…

This css works and did shorten the bg when I use firebug / inspect element. It will not work on Style.css ?

Can you show me which exact file I can locate the BODY 390% . Some must change it directly in order to work. It happens to me many times.

Hi Laura,

I tried it and is not working. Can you tell me which folder / file contains the BODY tag ? It may work this way if I do it directly form the admin side.

The reason I ask about the file area, I did a CSS on couple of things, it only works direct thru the admin.

Please advice or any other solution able to shorten the body?

I was the one installed this PMPRO ADD-ON, it was free that’s why. I just deactivated to see what will happen or not happen? Not much sure what it does. I will test and see.

YAHOO!!! It works now by your instructions to put buddypress pages back. Now even went I typed in the register path on the browse address, it go straight to the “create an account” instead the homepage yeah..

Is all good now, even click on the [JOIN US FOR FREE] button, it also go there also 🙂

But, by any chance you run across a post how any sweetdate site owners may able to set the certain pages (forums, members, activity) once it click it takes to the register (create an account), please remember me :), i still would like to have it set that way rather than clicking those pages goes to the MEMBERSHIPS LEVEL.

Anyway, you been a BIG HELP as always! Thank you so very much 🙂

Hmm, I just have my site for “anyone can register”. apparently the CREATE AN ACCOUNT page is not exist after I chosen register and saved changes from the buddypress pages?

Any idea what else I should do? Should I use do from scratch to load sweetdate and sweet-child theme all over again? If so, it will over write my current ??

I also just click on the link above, it takes me to a frontier site?

Hi Laura,

Yahoo, I been working on it, I selected “restrict certain level” and checked marked on “not members” and “not login member”, left uncheck FREE and GOLD.

now only the FORUMS, MEMBERS, ACTIVITY AND MEMBER PROFILE are not showing but just the MEMBERSHIPS LEVEL. Also the CREATE AN ACCOUNT is good, 🙂

I hope this is a good setting?

Hi Laura,

Ya, I selected the REGISTER page and save changes. I then use another browser F.F typed in http://www.chubbydisable.com/register , instead going to the homepage, NOW it say “User registration is currently not allowed”. I have the MEMBERSHIP Anyone can register UNCHECKED because working on the site. Anyway, now I’m assuming it work by your instructions. Before it didn’t even show this message but straight to the homepage.  .

Oh, what I remembered is when setting up the sweetdate at the very beginning, I have to run the bbpress, etc from these 2 screen shots. I do remembered there was there.

However, I did install a plugin it also come with a register page, so there are 2 register pages, I must deleted the wrong registered page. I also empty all the deleted from the trash.

There is no CREATE AN ACCOUNT page? for example: http://www.chubbydisabled.com/register .Please try this link it take you to the homepage?

I think at one time I have to manually ADD NEW for the REGISTER page, then these few days I then ADD NEW for CREATE AN ACCOUNT page, I know is the wrong way to do it. I though I give a try anyway. LOL

As you can see, the register is assigned to the register page from the bp-pages screen shot.

Hmm, I do not see a RESET REGISTER to put it back? Can you show me where is locate? I don’t see it not anywhere from the components or bp-pages ? Perhaps you can you also send me a screen shot of it?

Thanks for explain on the updates, I just go by what my hosting company told me I should ALWAYS do the updates on any plugins when is update now because is less chance to get hack. So I got that stuck in my head all that time. LOL

I wouldn’t do that again if have it go, then I just update the wordpress only then.

Hi laura,

I will check on the plug-ins but do that so many times, conflict conflict conflict. That is one think about wordpress I don’t like about. also when the site or certain plug-in is 100% good, but when there a updates on that plugin or other plugin, it mess up the whole site up… Plugin should be optional for people to update not mandatory down the road..

I did everything, it doesn’t work, in a way sometime it does work ONLY if click one time ONLY? Let’s say if you click the ACTIVITY tab once, it does go to the MEMBERSHHIPS LEVEL (free / gold). BUT, If you DO NOT click the select button to continue the level, BUT click on the ACTIVITY menu link again, it will take you to the activity actual page.

To make it easy to understand, even the memberships level is there, let’s say click the ACTIVITY 2 times in a roll, it don’t work.

Try to click my site (activity) 2 times, you will see it skips? Do you see other sites have that try their compare mine.

If you click the majority links/images, it take people direct to that CREATE AN ACCOUNT page.

How do you do that? What do I have to set, or create a page, etc?

This way people can’t see whats in it but to make people REGISTER

Yes, I did disabled member can account feature..

I went to sweetdate and download and uploaded the paid-memberships-pro folder to sweetdate-child, edit the button text to black, it works find now.

I hope this is fine and wouldn’t mess up the site?

I never mess with he php scripts, but only change the possible words, i.e. the button say ‘ link to us ‘ I will just changed to ‘ link me ‘ . That’s all.

But oh no, i already have too many plug-ins can’t deal one extra just to change a word, any other way to do so without install a plug-in ?

Hi Laura,

Somehow, I started my computer and/or cleared the cache for some reasons. The phase did changed after all. But it was much easier before but typed over in the admin area and don’t need to do all this steps. Anyway, Its all good now 🙂

I did what you told me, created a page-parts (folder), edit the php , upload the whole folder inside the sweetdate-child (folder). It didn’t change over?

I have the same issue for the User Groups, Text stays but when is scroll down it faded away rapidly? This happen from the beginning. I read this previous post message to mrmalmgren, What plug-in you are referring to check, etc ?

Hi Laura,

I was able to managed for replacing the background url (gif) and it changed that way. But no matter what, there is a setting somewhere in the styling options, I just forgot which one and neither by that square color images and those names is hard to understand. but would be nice if the update it show a thumbnails is easier than the phase tho.
