My site is still under construction and try not to show to the public if people come across not til is ready. Can we try this header.php for now to see by looking at the codes which line of codes to take out the slider place holder?

Hi Radu,

I have this default plugin came with the sweetdate (Paid Memberships Pro – bbPress Add On).

My own option I found this plugin, I installed this (Paid Memberships Pro) plugin and it have the menu to all these page setting but I already disabled/deleted. I think Laura say I actually don’t need this plugin. This just my optional to myself.

Suppose I never installed this (Paid Memberships Pro) plugin, where is the membership page setting from using the default (Paid Memberships Pro – bbPress Add On)? I looked everywhere I can’t find it? freaky!!!

Hi,

I just checked, I have no register page after all? There may be one before somehow is gone? Can I create one under the name “register” then? Not sure what you mean by use another page? Like a page name “register now” ? btw, what shortcode should be use for this register page?

However, there is a checkout page and there’s a short code already there, the shortcode is [woocommerce_checkout] is this a right shortcode for the checkout page?

Btw, would it be better is there’s a way to reinstall the buddypress setting so it will automatic insert is own default shortcode, etc?

Hi Laura,

That so funny. The restore by weekly and monthly from the hosting still have issue. Thank god… I uploaded one of my backup I downloaded a week ago, its all good just have to teak some css many other, etc, but the main thing the edit profile front/back-end are now working. 🙂

Thanks for the information, cool, I got this api and username from themeforest now and already in the misc section. Here is the image. What do I do now, would the sweetdate theme will automatic update itself or wait for some kind of message etc? Can you tell me how it go, so I will know or keep my eyes for?

On the last image I circled in RED. That guy whom optimized my site, he installed that plugin (Envato WordPress Toolkit). I have no idea what is it, should I delete it now since I already inputted the username and api key?

That sounds nice, because there’s a lot nice add-on plugins on envato but needs the visual composer feature in order to use the add-on plugins.

Although I try not to use too many plugins on the site. but Definitely looking forward for it. 🙂

P.S. wish that resolve button locate around the submit button like a check box can be mark or unmark “not resolved” or resolved, that way we can mark it like wordpress.org. this way also can safe the support team’s time as well… 🙂

Oh no, All I did is the disabled the Revolution Slider plugin, the homepage that image is gone that’s good, but the place holder for the slider still there. I haven’t delete any code/line in the header, that’s what I need to know which line I need to delete it?

Well, the plugins had been turned off/reactivated from hosting due to white screen few times. Anyhow, the site is not a product site to sell 1000 items, so i guess is not a feature really needed and to bypass this, but is good if works right!

Anyway, I tested the members page to search members, that doesn’t jump to the homepage like the search bar is good to know…So I already disabled the search box.

It’s just a search box on the forum just like any site what people type in to search product/things. overall, normally if find nothing, it should at least say NO FOUND etc, please try again.

But instead stay on the same page to search again, it go directly to the homepage?

I found a plugin gives this feature and works great. I just thought there might be a way to input a button somewhere into the back-end of the sweetdate theme. I already have too many plugin and try not to install anymore that will slow down the site just for ONE feature that I want.

Yes, this works great, I would just to add only like a FONT-FAMILY somewhere in the theme ,etc file so the FONT-FAMILY can be use in the editor.

I already have many plugins and try not to add extra in, unless I have too.

Hi Laura,

I will just use the plugin after all. It should already work putting this code, apparently, there might be a conflict with the site optimization and other css / javascripts. I better not to chance it for now. I did paid a lot money for someone to optimized the site. this is more important for me to keep.

I will keep the codes for future use if ever get to the stage it can be use.

I wonder is it because the site was optimized at one time (which got something to do to the css )?

Thanks for the information. I was hoping you say forum too. Because I was has been creating a lot of forums… I like the style of it anyway and also most people deal with forum in general for all types of websites.

Buddypress group is not everyone get into for their site! Although the Groups has their own goodies….

You are right, I got the css blocked out… it wouldn’t show what you typed unless the “topic title” is active. Once I took out the css, it shown.

Hmm, I have no luck on the background? This is the only the functions.php I can find unless is the wrong functions.php ?

I pasted to the very bottom, save it, uploaded to any of this directory below, no luck for both? Any idea, I must doing something wrong? Can you provide the right directory?
