Hi Laura,

I just tested the cover image again as a registered member (Not admin). anyhow, I uploaded an image for the cover image, its being SHARED with with the admin profile when I view their profile? Like you say, it should hold its OWN cover image!

Btw, it seems auto saved, there’s NO save button after I uploaded, is that right? if not, must has a bug then?

Can you walk me to the setting how to make its own cover image NOT being shared? Perhaps a attachment to show me what to set? Here is my setting in red circle.

Please advise help, there no save button, and now I can’t delete it because is being shared?

Hi Laura,

Ok, good news I also got this Male/Female going.

The bad news is this default avatar function is taking over ALL the members that already has their own profile avatar previously…

So it seems like it will work good ONLY for the NEW members that upload their profile image to replace this default avatar. OR wouldn’t over write with the registered avatar by email or facebook image.

I end up have to take out this functions after all 🙁

Can you help me how to fix this default function ONLY for the Mystry Man and NOT overwrite or avoid the existing member avatar?

I think is all good now, I uploaded an original Activate.php/register.php is now seems working. But will try to register few more time just to make sure.

Per your help, I am definitely will put the DEBUG codes in for all other aspect!

I am on sweetdate 2.9.3 version. btw, do you mean the latest sweetdate now has the “Visual Composer” ? There are many add-on from the envato site, is this mean I don’t have to buy the MAIN ” Visual Composer”, I can just buy the Visual Composer “ADD-ON” and it will work on sweetdate?

The issue has been fixed after all 🙂 there was a plugin I installed for long time was causing the site go white off and on and these funky pages.. This happens on every 1 – 2 clicks within the site.

I finally deleted . The site is now functioning normal YAHOO. What a headache for months LOL.

As far as I know, there must be a bug for the sweetdate updater? I am getting a funky page specially using the I.E browser?

Here is the screen shot for this funky page, is like reading Chinese? It happen here and there clicks on the links just about every 3-4 clicks such as links/menu/pages/etc?

I try to get this to work. I am confused from your replied on posted 10261 ? You say; it wont work at your style.css but you can add it to wordpress admin css with this function at functions.php

Am I suppose put thi codes you give me in the “wordpress admin.css and the same codes in the functions.php in the sweetdate-child directory also?

Hi Laura,

Freaky! I now able to see the upload cover image on the buddypress after all LOL. It’s in the Settings > Buddypress > Options > Cover Image Uploads. Its all good now the setting is there 🙂

The only issue is the cover image page is overlay the links.

Hi Laura,

How does it read to load which as the default image? The BLUE image-1 is the one I uploaded, I didn’t go to the buddypresss to upload from there and still don’t see no setting bp-cover from the buddypress MENU? That is weird?

I can downgrade back to the previous sweetdate if not able to do so? Because now the MAIN issue for this cover page, I have 2 custom links on this profile area, this cover image COVERED (over the special link) it, is there’s a way like to use some kind of CSS to display BEHIND the custom links?

Please advice for that CSS codes if possible?

Hi 7queen,

I am confused, there is NO link (button) on the sidebar forums to ADD support ticket? It say “Please allow up to 48hrs so we can review your request and respond”? Is this ONLY me or 7queen or everyone? Even 48hrs, it should able to post tickets I’m assuming?

By any chance anyone who see this message and have the same thing, please reply this post and possible to let me know we are on the same page?

It was the plugin all that time was causing it. Updated and it has a shortcode now, I put in the footer widget that way and NOT to add-in to the widget. that solved the issue.

Hi Laura,

I just updated the sweetdate to to 2.9 (latest). This must be the cover photo I’m assuming? Anyway, there’s still doesn’t have bp-cover on the setting, however i did see a link on the buddypress profile tab (Change Cover Image). I changed, it linked to the image-1, then I deleted and upload the 2nd image, it stayed on the admin cover image which is fine, but it doesn’t change on the member, still showing the image-2 (the crown)?

Is this only for the admin to use one image for the whole site included ALL the members? Can the member upload and have their own cover image?

It doesn’t make sense? I’m the admin uploaded the image-2 and it changed, but it didn’t change on the member side? Now there a 2 different cover images?

I refreshed the browser, no luck changing? I also empty the cache, no luck?

I got the wordfence it looks pretty good. I cant block ips and few extra, the only thing is not good have to pay upgrade for blocking the countries. so far is good to have. I might also get the CleanTalk service for $8.00 a year. Is not bad..

dud me, that was awhile back ago and was the very last updated that I did. I downloaded and updated the CHILD-THEME instead!!! That because is the child-theme that is for the site (Active)? Would it be an ISSUE?

What can I do to fix it?

Btw, Doing a test. I just changed the Themeforest Username from the domain name TO my Themeforest login name.

If there’s an update, would it be automatic updated itself or would be a popup message from the plugin area like others? If so, I don’t see the sweetdate anyhow?

Thanks for your advice, I do use firebug to get around on the css and is a great tool.  Also probably may not work especially if all the accordion runs on the same class? But I will give it a try now that you mentioned.

But I mostly will keep them after all, this way it makes the profile seems a lot of to it.

Thanks for pointing me out. That sounds like easy to do then. If get me back where I left off by uploading my downloaded wp-content/db that saving me a lot of time/works (Not do it from scratch).

Especially the site is ready to go live when this migration messed it up 🙁

hmmm, I just updated to the latest 2.5.1 buddypress, I looked into Setting > Buddypress [Component, pages, Option, rtmedia] , there’s nothing about bp cover.

I can’t find that plugin? Can you send me the link to the bp cover plugin? Also do you have a screen shot for the setting?

One more question before closing this support. btw, if I happen to found that plugin is causing it. But would it be possible to upload the “jquery library” somewhere in the plugin myself? This way I can keep both plugins not have to make choices which one to keep?
