However, I managed to fix it via custom CSS that took priority over inline style. Here’s result: http://dev.myadvantage.edu.au/

Hi Laura,

yes – I have slightly modified “general-header-section.php” file. It’s only structural change – not functional. This change allowed me to stretch menu bar outside of main header container and span across whole screen.

Please see attached screenshot with comparison between original and modified code.

Please let us know what needs to be done to get this issue sorted.

Thanks for your tips and solution! Having spent hours trying to figure it out and in the end it was such an easy solution! Seeing avatars were enabled on a few other settings pages I think I hadn’t even considered the Discussion tab as well.

While not perfect, that’ll be close enough.

One question now though, to link the icons through to the specific users’ respective pages how do I enter the link in the edit kleo icon options? At present the urls are like:

http://domainname.com/members/user-name/groups/
” ” /profile/ etc

If I remove the username and enter links like http://domainname.com/members/groups/ will that end up directing users to their respective content pages?

Hi Sharmstr,

So for the Kleo posts i’m sure we’ll be able to extend the length of the excerpt to enable the full text to be displayed from the link you supplied, however any links contained in the text in the post aren’t appearing in the excerpt. How can you add links to the excerpt?

Also how can you disable the permalinks for the headings of these posts? They won’t be necessary as all the content will (hopefully!) be located on the same page.

Re: the continue reading, when I turn off the post footer in the settings the continue reading button disappears, however the post is still clipped after that same amount of characters as if the button were still there. Is there an option to extend the excerpt to display the full text of the post, without being shortened with … ?

So to confirm, I won’t lose any of my existing content by uploading demo data? It will all be side by side on my pages list? Sorry i know I’m being pedantic, I’m just trying to be super cautious to avoid any major setbacks…

And to be more specific, I’m looking to show related pages – not posts or products. Is there an element I can use to manually re-create the related posts/products display but for pages, or have it displayed automatically?

‘Benefits’ was an element provided by our previous theme developers and isn’t available as an external plugin from what I can see. If I use Kleo posts, is there a setting where I can remove the ‘Continue reading’ from the excerpt which appears in the tab, or can this only be done via CSS?
