So after the update things got worse. Seems like the poster pics get resized but to the wrong size.

I even re-did everything 3 times to make sure……still nothing. No Improvement

After replacing all the files in the zip I don’t see any improvements what so ever. It’s the same as it was before.

Ok….. thank you. I will replace those files but in the mean time I did upload a .webm format of the video as you suggested but it didn’t fix anything in Firefox. So i’m guessing the problems stems from more then just the format no being available.

Ok, did what you requested. Added a poster image 480 x 270 px same size as videos. Still has position and sizing issues but to a lesser degree.

Was hoping for an auto re-size or a place you can adjust all poster images in one place just like you have for the portfolio video size, instead of manually re-sizing all the images one by one. That way you can match them both up and they get automatically fitted. This will save a huge amount of time.

But with that being said, even when using an image with the exact same size as video still does not solve the problem. see images below.

Updated to 2.3 and now the poster option is available which is great. sizing problems still exist. Poster image shows up in all browsers which is the good news.

Size issue looks different in all browsers. No browser shows correctly sized poster image.

I have taken screen shoots of how the problem looks in Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer all have different poster size problems.

just a side note: poster image size is inconsistent when refreshing the browser. Example: first browser load, poster image is lets say 300×300 px. Then refresh the page poster image changes to 200×300 px.

Ohhh ok, I thought you meant the fix was already available in the update. I read the update up and down about 4 times lol ….

Just an update…..

I upgraded to Kleo 2.2 and as i did that of course the video poster option was rewritten and disappeared so instead of replacing the files you gave me, i tried to use the featured image option to see if that would fix the issue.

When using the featured image option no image appears. Basically looks like nothing was done and black box appears. So featured image does not work for either Chrome or internet explorer.

I won’t replace the kleo files you gave me until I hear back from you since you might have a different fix all together.

There was something wrong on themeforest end. Now fixed.

Automatic updates are fixed. And once theme updated it fixed the permalink issue as well. All done with this issue. Solved Thanks for the help.

Ok…. Bad News

First I have kleo Version 2.1.1 which is clearly not the newest version

Second, Word press states I have the newest version of kleo and i’m already up to date which I am not.

Thirdly, I tried to do a manual update and I cant download the theme files. I logged into themeforest and can not find my original purchase which allowed me to download the files. That has disappeared. I went looking all over for other options to download the files hoping they changed the location but sadly it seems they just deleted my record. How can I get the Updates now?

Yeah I appreciate that. I always thought the updates are automatic. That’s why I didn’t bother looking for a manual way to update.

I will try to update the FTP way but Should I worry about the theme not updating automatically?

Looks like I don’t have an option for manual update. I put in my API key etc in the update section and it hasn’t updated automatically for months so something is obviously wrong.

Will probably need to open another topic unless you’ve come across this before?

When you say Custom Page for Portfolio Archive, do you mean single portfolio page option?

If So, I have tried the above steps a few times with no luck. Portfolio still shows up in Permalink no matter what I name the portfolio and link.

Do the permalink setting need to be changed? I currently have them set as (Post Name)

Was hoping for a different type of solution. The Parallax effect is mostly used for text over an image to see that effect.

So if the text can’t be large due to mobile version zoom issues then whats the point of having that effect?

Can the text be added as a png/jpg instead of text box so that the mobile version would not over zoom background image? Would that work?

It actually does not work in chrome either…..For some reason it worked once but after refreshing the page and opening new pages I haven’t been able to see it work again. I emptied all cache etc. Still no luck

Also the container css that you gave me works for the issue in chrome browser but not in internet explorer browser etc.

I replaced all files located in zip you provided except for the _MACOSX . I can’t find that file anywhere. Is this just for other versions?

seems like sometimes shows up on certain browsers as a picture and others it never shows up and is a black thumbnail.

If it was consistent and never showed up on all browsers I would maybe think a plugin would fix it. But how it stands now, it seems it wants to show the Thumbnail but doesn’t always do so. Sometimes if lets say 10 videos are uploaded then 5 show up as pictures and 5 show up black.

???????????????????? would like to get this fixed before the holiday? at this rate the issue won’t get resolved. Its been 4 business days with no response. Thats 72 hrs instead of your 48 hrs max limit specified. What can I do to get some help?

Also on firefox browser page loads super slow. Basically an empty page takes about 2 minutes to fully load using firefox and other browsers take about 10 seconds. Why is this?

Really thank you for the quick reply. I have edited the file and it corrected the video size issue so that’s great but i still have one existing issue.

The issue is as follows

Some videos in portfolio mode as the one listed here http://a01.eae.myftpupload.com/test/
show up as a black or blank box where the video thumbnail should be. Why does this happen and is there a way to fix this?
