That file is overriding updates. So if you put it in there because you made changes, then you need to make those changes to the new buddypress-functions.php. If you havent made any changes to that file, then there is no reason to have it in the child theme.

basic question – are you using the main sidebar or a custom sidebar? If its a custom sidebar, did you set it on the page?

I’ve seen this happen once (reply not working in one groups) and it had something to do with a specific activity that would screw up the whole page. I was never able to sort it out but it happened with the 2015 Theme enabled as well. I know it was a specific activity because once I deleted the activity all was well again.

I dont believe that Kleo is overriding that rtMedia plugin. Temporarily enable the 2015 theme and see if the same thing happens. If so, contact rtMedia. If not, let me know.

You need those files. The other issue that you havent mentioned is that when you click on comment, it shouldn’t be reloading the page. It should just show the comment form. Loading those scripts properly will fix that too.

And good point. So, look for plugin and/or custom code conflicts. Try enabling wp_debug and setting display to true.

You cant have that page if a user isn’t logged in. However, you can redirect users to that page after they log in. But, in case you are not aware, it only shows the groups the user is a member of, not all groups.

Anyhow, to redirect users to their groups page, go to Theme Options > Misc and set login redirect to Default WP. Then install Peters Login Redirect plugin and set All other users url to http://www.yoursite.com/members/%5Bvariable%5Dusername%5B/variable%5D/groups. Be sure to change http://www.yoursite.com
