Hey Laura, I made a mistake and I’m trying to figure out how to fix it. I want to add the “mixed form” option back to my home page but I don’t know how. I believe I deleted awhile back.
So, basically what I want to have is – if a person is not a member, they will see a registration form on the homepage either next to or underneath the slider. But, if they are a member then they will see the search option next to or underneath the slider.
Can you help me with this?
shaundraniaParticipantOk. So do you have the php code for me to add or no? Laura was kind enough to provide that before, will you also do the same- since you say “the code is outdated”
shaundraniaParticipantRadu, apologize for this 2nd message but this is all I saw-
I went to themes, then I went to sweetdate-child but I do not see anything that says functions.php.
shaundraniaParticipantokay we are obviously speaking two different languages. First, I posted a few times because the comments won’t allow me to edit a previous entry to add additional information or requests – that’s the reason for multiple tickets.
2nd – I have NO IDEA what you mean when you say “You should edit the file on your server located there : wp-content/themes/sweetdate-child/functions.php and paste ad the end”. Are you saying go into themes? Go into a plugin? go into what – please speak plainly to me about how to make the change – I’m not a coder or web designer! sweetdate-child theme is added. Where do I go 1st from the main dashboard and then tell me the steps afterwards PLEASE! I appreciate your help. Thank you Radu.
shaundraniaParticipantBy the way Radu, the code I posted I ad the one you sent me to insert into my website in February….
shaundraniaParticipantRadu, the link in your message doesn’t working. I’m not sure where you’re trying to send me? Please try again!!
shaundraniaParticipantYes, it’s been solved. I just opened a new ticket this morning on preventing same sex search. I’m not sure if you can see it or not?
shaundraniaParticipantAbe, thank you for your coding help! Only thing is, now the image for one of the products is showing in both the image placeholder and the description. How do I remove the image from the description?
shaundraniaParticipantSo, should I expect an answer/solution to my problem today or next year? It would make my day if someone would help me with my woocommerce issue.
shaundraniaParticipantRadu, I just shared access info to the website above. The description box isn’t my problem, it’s the actual product image that won’t show in the spot where the image placeholder is.
shaundraniaParticipantLaura, my previous problem was solved with the links not working but now I have another problem regarding woocommerce and woocommerce has told me it’s a theme (sweetdate) problem. The single image product is not showing on the product page but the images for categories are. There seems to be additional coding to make this possible in the site. I will attach screen shots for your review. I’ve sent in 2 previous tickets for this issue and have yet to hear back from anyone. I pray that you respond quickly with some help!!
The attachments show the edit page (There is supposed to be an additional link for product image next to gallery image on the right for me to add to the product – it’s not there…and gallery image does not fix the problem).
The 2nd attachment shows the placeholders for the product images but no matter how many different ways I’ve attempted to put an image into the area of the placeholder, it doesn’t work.
PLEASE HELP! I’m near the end of finishing my website and need your assistance.

shaundraniaParticipantAlso, I think I put the API into the sweetdate admin section for auto updates on the site but I’m not sure. Would the purchase code on themeforest be considered the API?
shaundraniaParticipantKieran,
I did open a ticket twice… it is a continuing problem on the backend. I’ve sent in two messages indicating that the pages (invoice, cart, and checkout) are not showing due to the issue I mentioned in my message. I feel like I’m getting the run around on this question/issue… can you please just help me?!
shaundraniaParticipantI tried ignoring the warning but the pages didn’t populate -meaning the cart, invoice nor the product page showed up when I did a test.
What do you mean staging the site? How do I do that?
shaundraniaParticipantWoocommerce is saying the theme sweetdate child contains outdated copies of some woocommerce template files.
shaundraniaParticipantOk. I’ve created separate pages for matchmaking invoice/shop page, cart and checkout through the woocommerce plugin that came with this template… I’ve tested it out but nothing seems to be displaying on the cart page to complete the purchase. What could I be doing wrong? Please help??!!
It seems like the woocommerce installed is out of date with sweetdate theme installed. I believe if it’s updated, it could fix the problem…looks like it would require coding expertise. Please help! Thanks!!
shaundraniaParticipantLaura, is there a way to send those who apply for matchmaking services to the invoice page if the service is not listed on membership pro? In other words, because it’s not listed with the online dating services, how do I create an invoice page for them to pay with the terms of agreement listed on it? Can they also have a checkout page, billing and cancellation page? What do you suggest?
Thank you!!
