ParticipantHello, Abe!

Pass: $taging$Note that we have tried to debug using some of the suggestions by EventOn’s (calendar plugin) developers. So when you try to add a post or page, it will result in a white blank screen.
Let me know if you need anything further.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, Radu,
OK, so we did copy the Javascript into the theme settings section as instructed and it did not fix anything. 🙁
Here is additional detail:
We duplicated the homepage and deleted rows one by one in the duplicate page and noticed that if we disable a row containing an EventOn Calendar, the menu javascript interactions (dropdowns) work. HOWEVER, EventOn Developers also noticed that if we resize the browser window, the menu interactions then work as well.
Is there anything you can think of that we can try from this point? We have reached out to EventOn to get some assistance, but they said we need to buy more plugins and update them all…
Thank you!

ParticipantHi there, i am not actually sure where in the file to put this.
I found the options-general.php file and opened it in Sublime Text, but then it’s a bunch of PHP code, and I’m not sure where to put the JS snippet.
If you mean to put this in the General settings in the WordPress Dashboard, there is no actual Javascript menu in which to put the javascript code you provided. Could you let me know what I need to do step by step?
Thank you!

ParticipantIt happens on several pages:
https://yourhappinessu.com/
https://yourhappinessu.com/corporate-programs/
https://yourhappinessu.com/event-calendar/What makes us think it could be a theme issue is that the dropdown menus start to work when you update the window by resizing it. They also work for a split second before the page fully loads.

ParticipantThank you, Kieran.
I was told by the team at Pantheon.io Hosting who did a Webinar on Gutenberg, that the WordPress Core 5.0 would be released with Gutenberg, but there was no actual release date for 5.0 yet. Tentative around end of summer-ish.
Hopefully we will here better news and be given a better ETA Soon.
Thank you for everything you guys do!

ParticipantI think the original solution, Mixed Content plugin: I recommend you to install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/ssl-insecure-content-fixer/ fixed the issue. The buttons work on events now! Great!
But we are still seeing a problem causing Javascript errors that are now cause the submenu items in our navigation menu not load. The submenu items will only show up on hover if you open the Developer Console. If you do not open developer console (both in Chrome and Firefox), the submenu items don’t show up at all.
I tried installing a API KEY for Google Maps plugin to see if we could force a Google API to remove the javascript issue (this is also from the EventOn Plugin scripts), and it still did not fix the issue you see in the Gif attached.
Please see the attached GIF.
We appreciate all your help.

ParticipantThank you so much, I looked at the second website you linked and it shows that a bunch of URLS for the assets for the EventOn plugin are served up through insecure URL. I’ll try checking with our host and see if there’s anything we can do, then I’ll try to install that plugin and see if it fixes the issue.
I’ll keep you posted!!

ParticipantPS> We disabled the RSVP and inquiry buttons for now because the plugin was not working correctly, and we will keep these options disabled until the issue is resolved.
Thanks!

ParticipantHello! I created a private test event and hid it from the Events calendar, so that you will be able to see the broken items:
http://yourhappinessu.com/events/private-test-event/
The password is 43211234.Here are the buttons that are not working:
1.) RSVP button – broken, no button appears at all
2.) Submit Inquiry button – broken, button appears, not clickable
3.) Order Now button (when there are multiple ticket prices/multiple ticket variants) – button appears, not clickable. On our existing, public events on our website, I disabled all inquire and RSVP buttons and require all our clients to RSVP via email. In any events with a single ticket price (i.e., there is only one ticket type), the Add to Cart button works.
It is in events where there are multiple ticket prices (variants) where you cannot add tickets to a cart.
Here is a live event with multiple ticket prices, where the order now button is broken: https://yourhappinessu.com/events/life-planning-workshop-with-alice-inoue-4/
It may be helpful to know that we recently upgraded our SSL to make sure that all URLS throughout our site were covered as HTTPS.
Thank you for your help!! We are losing ticket sales because of this issue!
Many, many thanks.

ParticipantWe also noticed that EventOn tickets are not working when there are variants to the tickets. The Order Now button is not working.
We noticed that the EventOn plugin with the current theme files is out of date.
aliceinoue
ParticipantPlease note that our inquiry buttons are on the front end are also not working.
