ParticipantHey there! So, I followed all your directions and check them all twice and still no go 🙁 Sorry! I feel like such a pain in the arse… would you be willing to check it out on the backend?

ParticipantHi, still not showing up correctly for the News Focus (see attachment). In the New Focus feature it is still showing the cropped 480x 270 image… I changed the thumbnail sizes in the Blog Theme options to be 480×9999 and I’m still getting this. Please note that I also regenerated my thumbnails using the plugins you suggested. Any thoughts?

ParticipantFound the setting that fixed that! Theme options>Header Options>Compact overflowing menu items (this is just for reference for anyone else who suddenly had this problem)

ParticipantSoooo I tried this:
.header-color .caret:after, .header-color .widget_archive li:before, .header-color .widget_categories li:before, .header-color .widget_product_categories li:before, .header-color .widget_layered_nav li:before, .header-color .widget_display_views li:before, .header-color .widget_recent_entries li:before, .header-color .widget_recent_comments li:before, .header-color .panel .icon-closed, .header-color .panel .icon-opened {
color: #000 !important;
}into my Custom CSS under the theme options and now WP dashboard is timing me out and not letting me in. The customer service for my host said that an application was timing out… this is the only change I’ve made, so I’m wondering if caused a problem? If so… what is the name and location of the file that the edits were made to so I can remove it? Or do you have other suggestions? Really learning this all as I go.
I maybe completely off base with this one.
And YAY, you want cake.. that means my site is doing it’s job 😉

ParticipantNot for the dropdown/mega menu text. It does for the main menu text, but as soon as you drop down it is smaller.

ParticipantAhh, it’s not showing up in my main top bar but it is showing up in my member’s top bar. I can work around that though! Thanks for all your help, very much appreciated!

ParticipantWorked perfectly! One last thing… is there anyway to turn it off on the top bar and only have it on the main menu?

ParticipantAHHHH I see.. so should i be using the “gap” instead of the “empty space” I always wondered what the difference was. Sorry for the amature hour.

ParticipantAh sorry missed that part! Works like a charm! Perfect! Is adding the search just as simple?

ParticipantSo that put an extra shopping cart on the “primary” (non-members menu) and put just the shopping cart on the members menu… no search bar.. but looks like we’re headed in the right direction 🙂

ParticipantAnd when I go to view the page itself (which does work, the wordpress dashboard is what isn’t working)… the menus I have had from the past disappear. SO is there no way to save my menus? Isn’t that the purpose of a child theme, to save those settings?
