Found the issue in a custom function that wasn’t correct. Close this please, and sorry.
djhaystackParticipantAnd I now have another shortcode not working outside of VC. This shortcode has an id=”#” parameter at the end of it, and that’s all that shows up.
djhaystackParticipantThanks @sharmstr. I’m obviously a novice at this stuff. I was afraid the css hiding would result in some kind of SEO penalty. I need to study more. Thanks for the reply. Suppose I’ll just keep my custom little work and be proud of it lol.
djhaystackParticipantI think it would be nice to expand the options for the Posts Grid shortcode in VC. It’s one of the primary reasons I bought Kleo and am so excited about it. I wanted to disable excerpts for one post grid without disabling them for all. I’ve accomplished this by providing a custom class and then doing a display none for all p tags, but this seems a little wrong lol. Options to control display of various parts of the grid would be great. I’ve attached the results of my paragraph tag removal and I love this look for certain grids. If there’s a more “legitimate” way to achieve this let me know, and thanks!

December 21, 2014 at 20:48 in reply to: Custom Post Type Categories in Post Grid Query Builder #39875djhaystackParticipantAlso, I’d be quite fine including all posts from my custom post type if that makes this any easier.
djhaystackParticipantIt was just a suggestion that the background image be linkable for background advertising / promoting. I’ve utilized a background takeover ad plugin and it’s working fine. I was concerned it might not since the theme doesn’t use the built in WP background customizer, but all is well. Feel free to close, and thanks for the response. Also, thanks for the new header option in 2.3… I had spent time custom-building the header code, and was able to scrap all my cruddy coding and implement your new header option to call ads next to the logo. 🙂
