Sorry – no confirmation emails just don’t get sent at all. It doesn’t matter whether you use the PHP function or the SMTP mailer it doesn’t send the confirmation email so signups cannot confirm membership. Not sure if this applies to other site emails. I will check now and come back.
If it is installed and activated even with no other extensions installed site emails don’t go out. Deactivate it and they do.
In normal circumstances I would have bothered them but I am not one of their $195 a year subscribers.
I disabled all the non-Kleo related ones before seeking help. So the likelihood was it was a clash with a Kleo related plugin.
Bizarrely without doing anything I did new updates for WooCommerce and Paid Memberships Pro this morning and it appears to have fixed it without having to disable the plugins.

Like many Kleo sites we are headed to the higher hills when it comes to memory requirements on WordPress and it could be that.
However I don’t see anything that is memory related on the logs – which I have attached – just a lot of stuff I don’t understand.
Any assistance gratefully received as is stalling our site development.
Strangely this problem seems to apply to certain specific elements – noticably for styling rows and for saving textblocks. I am able to add, for example, a ticker to a row but I cannot save the row elements.
WPMU Dev’s Anti Splog or Wangguard.
Anti-Splog comes inclusive with WPMUDevs ($$$) subscription or you can buy it as a stanadalone. (It is in the free repository but you need an API key to make it work properly and for that you need to pay for it.) As you would expect it works well in a multisite environment

Wangguard is free for both the installation and the API, probably has a better interface and is more user friendly but it doesn’t play quite as well with multisite. Otherwise it is probably the better product. Is available in the free repository.
