Hi guys- user registered. BP took registration, but when user goes back to log-in, it just keeps spinning. See photo attached. Please advise.

That’s the problem. I have no idea where to look- this doesn’t seem normal. I didn’t do anything to anything- I am not experienced in changing these things so I haven’t touched any editing of the theme, only what Catalin advised on the font size of the footer.

I apologize for the late response on my end.

I have went through your scenario multiple times and I wasn’t able to get the exact details regarding the situation in which your domain loads twice.

The only valid point I can make is that it is not a redirect on a domain level, as your domain initially loads once, as expected, then loads multiple files and then gets the redirect.

I recommend verifying the details with the developer as they might be able to create a time line and verify what is causing the domain to re-load.

Also, I’d like to mention that response from your web server is longer, specifically around 2 seconds which is what makes this situation even worse, as your domain loads twice. I recommend talking to the web hosting company about the issue and verifying why does your domain take too long to establish connection. The exact term for the interval is Time to first byte: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_To_First_Byte

I cannot keep configuring this theme Catalin. Per godaddy there was a blank ip from a login attempt that caused it to break again. iThemes just blocked it automatically. Wondering if that was you? Do you have a blank IP? Does that sound familiar?

My host confirmed it was K-Elements and I have seen many forums with customers having the same failure I did this week. I am disappointed because one the plugin update crashed my system. Two it required a theme update. Three my system didn’t update me of a theme date. Four when I go to do the theme update it fails. Five I am re-directed to a 3 year old wordpress blog pertaining some webdesign (I don’t know- haven’t we gotten more sophisticated) six I was asked for my login credentials for your team to resolve. Nothing happened. I am not a bad person- seriously but this has pissed me off more than what was needed. It’s not you personally, its the expectation that I somehow should know better and that isn’t fair. I expect from you guys to make sure my updates work correctly, that my theme updates work as they should. That when a change happens I can navigate through it. Not be stopped in my tracks with no resolve.

Truly, I must have some knowledge to build what I have so far. But thanks. When I run into an issue that is caused by a plugin and theme update I go to the experts, which is you. Just as your other clients have and is evident on the forums. I can read also. Not very good with the grammar thing- but anyway. Just fix my damn problem. What is so hard about this, it isn’t me it was your updates that broke my website.
