All right, thank you for your hint. I am on wpengine, but although on some locations the website loads quickly, others seem to make the website loading very slow. http://www.spiritberlin.org
I thought I should consider a provider switch. But as you recommend wpengine, I will dig deeper.

Great you could resolve it. I’ve used the child theme with my css before. Could you recover this or can I do this by myself?
Also there is a WP notice about rtmedia, should I do something on this?

Thanks for your modification! Right now, when I click on “+”, the background image expands but then immediately collapses again. I actualy didn’t want to disallow the expand option. Could you kindly fix this?

I caused this error by setting a height for the top navigation bar. Not sure why this affects the logo position, but it did.

Nooo it doesn’t:) Look at your screenshot, the logo is not centered, it is between center and right. As it was before.

JacobAh Laura, an idea: Is there any function you can think of that lets your Kleo sign up popup appear when a user calls the /login or wp-login.php page? That would be a nice solution!

Almost 🙂 In my Kleo install the background image (cover photo) is expanded by default. I just want to change this setting. The default should be small (collapsed).
The header show less function should be kept enabled.

My problem is that pages that are for logged in users only, forward the user to the /login page. This page is just empty in the main frame. What is the Kleo solution for such a case?

You wont believe it, but the problem persists with all plugins (except buddypress) deactivated. Do you have any idea?
I have also deactivated the caching plugin (“autoptimize”) in this test.heeeelp 🙂

I have selected the “bpsidebar” (I assume you refer to this by “buddypress sidebar”) in the Page settings for Members and the one for Groups. I have double checked that there is indeed a widget to be displayed. Still the frontend shows just empty space on the sidebar area.
Can you check my environment somehow? I have no clue, how to proceed. Or do you have another idea?

Thank you for your reply. Are you referring to “Theme Options”. In there, I have the “Buddypress” section, which only allows me to select betweens several layouts, but none of them is called “Buddypress” (nor “Buddypress Slider Layout”). Can you help me to find it?

In my install this does not seem to work for some reason. When i add a sidebar to the groups page, the sidebar is not shown. When unselect the groups page in the buddypress settings (so i temporarily choose another page for groups page) then the frontend does show the sidebar, but all the groups in the main frame are gone.
It seems as if I had to choose if the page is the buddypress groups page OR if i want it to have a sidebar.
Do you have any ideas?

The problem is resolved. It wasn’t caused by Kleo after all. The reason was a setting in my Autoptimize plugin where I had to un-exclude jQery.js from the exclusion list.
