It is on the Activity wall and in the Activity section in a users profile. There is also a Spam link right next to it. It only shows when a user is logged in. Here is the CSS:
.button{
background-color: #20a00b;
font-size: 12px;
padding: 0;
}Jeremy14ParticipantYou can always switch just keep track of everything. So did you fix it?
Jeremy14ParticipantI had to do the same. I went with GoDaddy and they have really good support. If you have all of you files and work saved in your database and/or desktop you can manually re-install the theme.
Jeremy14ParticipantWell. The problem is solved haha. The reason Public Message was redirecting me to a 404 error is because I did not have an Activity Stream set up. At first I did not want it but Its probably best to keep it. Thank you.
Jeremy14ParticipantSo, that didnt work. I tried deactivated all plugins, deactivating theme, deleting theme, then manually installing it. I cant seem to figure this out. A few weeks ago I switched hosting companies could this be why?
J
Jeremy14ParticipantThe permalinks are set to Day and Name. Once I deactivate all plugins besides Buddypress, I cant even view a profile now. After switching to Buddypress default theme the same thing happens, cannot view profiles or send messages.
Jeremy14ParticipantOk I reset them but it didnt do anything. I’m not too familiar with permalinks how can I make them look good?
J
Jeremy14ParticipantI figured that part out. It was the DSP dating plugin again. It is not compatible with this theme. But when I deactivate it I lose my Members page displaying all members. Do I need to create a new members page? How would I be able to show all members on that page? Also, I made a search form and when I search for someone a 404 error shows up, or it says there are no members.
Jeremy14ParticipantOk. I deactivated my plugins and reactivated them one by one and BUDDYPRESS is he culprit. Do you know how I can fix this?? I’ve been trying for 2 days but can’t find any info and no one on other support forums has answered.
Thanks
JJeremy14ParticipantSorry for the late response. I had to switch hosting. I have not seen any more pop ups after updating. But I have another problem I will post a new topic about.
Jeremy14ParticipantHey,
The shortcode is not rendering and I have not found a solution yet. I am waiting for an email back from the developer and I’ll have an update asap.
Thanks
