I got it to work. I had added Google Tag Manager to the header.php file and once I removed it, now it works. Thank you for all of your help!

I looked at the kleo child theme. The only thing I did there was add a function to allow excerpts on pages. Still not working.

I will try that. I should also mention that when I save a draft of a blog post and then try to preview it, it also redirects to the home page.

Hi. If you try and search on my site, understandingmyositis.org you will see how it redirects. I appreciate your help.

If I change my permalinks, which are now set up with month/day/year for our blog, won’t that hurt my SEO and 404 errors?

Hi. If I use TML, will that still allow the Kleo pop up? My site is using buddypress and woocommerce and I want to be sure they are synced and that the login doesn’t cause any issues. Really appreciate your help.

I did what you asked but nothing changed. I do have the last version.

I was able to get in the wp-admin through a different browser. Where do I disable that particular redirect? I want them to fill out the profile fields.

As for menu: For the buddypress community pages, I have created a different menu than my standard primary menu. This way when members click on the community, the menu changes to offer them the options I want them to have easily.

With my regular primary menu, the top menu has a few links. When I assign the new buddypress primary menu I created, the top bar changes as well and includes the same exact links as the new primary menu. I want the top bar menu to remain the same throughout all pages.

    Thank you for your help!

I added that code to the functions file and it did now show an excerpt box in page options drop down.

Is there a way to edit the search file to include an excerpt like it does with blog posts, stripping out shortcodes?

On other sites I have, page excerpts are there. I am interested in having page excerpts only for search results to show something other than the page title. Is there a way to to accomplish this? Just to include the first few lines of the page on the search results page?

It shows my home page but any pages after that are still under maintenance.

No, for some reason it still shows the maintenance page to me.
