In that case, I think it is better to remove the ‘activity’ page from the menu. So that it won’t disable any function and won’t show the site wide activity to the members. What do you say about it?

I have changed my domain name to ‘eduguru.pro’. Previous domain extension ‘.CO’ was confusing with ‘.COM’. ‘.COM’ on sale for a huge amount that I can’t buy as of now. Admin credentials are same as before.

Coming back to the discussion: I am working on this. I have already collected 30,000 students data. Rather than creating them as users I will invite them to the website. Please don’t close the ticket until I am a success in this.

Oh! It means some other plugin upgradation is creating this issue? I need to see next time which plugin is creating the problem.

1) How to reduce or increase the tint (colour) of the registration box in home register? (PFA image)

2) In your #191184 answer, you have mentioned the following code. I am already using “Peter’s Login Redirect”. Before I make changes as mentioned in the following code, do I need to deactivate Peter’s Login Redirect plugin?

1. It looks like you have set the Home Register page to be the homepage – the page is just visuals there is no other logic behind it so it will show to both logged in and logged out users. Is your site going to be private? If so you can use the below code to redirect users away from BuddyPress pages to Home Register and set your home page to Activity (or whatever page you desire) via WP Admin > Settings > Reading > Static Page.

1) Even after login if we click on the logo(eduguru) the page ‘Home Register’ display. Can we avoid this anyway?

2) While editing Home Register one gap came on the footer side. May I know how to remove it?

3) Can we bring the animated connectors and nodes that we see in the V-Connected homepage to Register Homepage?

Now I have used Home Register on my website http://www.eduguru.co. Please see the attached image before reading My query.

You can see in the homepage image #1 and #2 red colored boxes: #1 is showing Logout tab #2 is showing registration on the homepage. #2 registration form is showing even after already logged in.

Query 1: Is there any way to show other pages like ‘sitewide activity’ after logging in?

Query 2: The #3 yellow box is the site menu. In your demo on ‘Home Register’ this menu is hidden. How to hide it.

Thank you. Its working now. What I had done is updating the theme. Apart from that on [Home] tab I had given link to ‘Getconnected-V’ and site stream (these pages were also showing 404 error). This i have removed an given the link to ‘Home e-learning’.

I see that you had created two draft pages on 13th and 20th Feb. Can I delete that if its not required?

Scenario 1: I am going to collect 1000s of name, contact no., email ids from different sources with permission to add them to my website.

1. How can we import them as live users in Kleo?
2. I want to know what are the columns I have to add in the .csv or .xlsx file (for importing)
3. Is there any plugin for this?

(If this is not possible)
Scenario 2: I want to invite members using their email ids
1. Which is the best plugin for this?

😀 that means 2033 times I have to “Switch to” to activate all the 2033 members I have uploaded? After switching to one user I need to log out and again log in to admin then again switch to another user, am i right?

You know? I started collecting contact details of students from colleges to add in this website as members (I know this may not be allowed in EU or US). Before promoting the website I wanted to show some members on the website.

Let me know if any possible way is available to create users from external users data. I am keeping this thread as ‘private’ since this method may be considered as unethical in EU.

One more Query: I have 500+ contacts in my email (mostly friends). I want to make them as demo users by uploading their details: Name, Username, and Email. The password I will keep as blank or any random password.

I know this is not something related to the theme. But I really want to make my website successful with few real users (known to me). As of now I am the only person working on this in my free time. I need your support in these hacks.
