Hello, if you did the changes at the child theme then you wont lose them 🙂
Theme updates can be done automatically using envato toolkit plugin and at theme options with envato api

2- Maybe a vendor plugin for woocommerce that integrates with buddypress but i don’t know any
3- Event Manager plugin does this but i’m not sure if it has an integration with woocommerce
