sharmstr,
Thanks, I will definitely setup a staging site asap. Thanks for the suggestion. And the reply to answer my question.musactParticipantOkay, I learned a lesson here. Don’t update until I verify that it works with the theme. My mistake, and I hope not to repeat it.
I learned something from your reply, but it wasn’t an answer to my question about: Is this a problem?
I haven’t noticed any compatibility problems yet with woo commerce, and I know people have used my shopping cart.
Would you advise me to leave things as they are until a I notice a problem? Or should I restore a backup of the site that has the old version of woo commerce? Or something else?
Thanks, I appreciate any advice.

Content Aware Sidebars.
musactParticipantCOPY CODE1 2 3 .wpcf7 textarea, .wpcf7 input[type] { color: #444444; }
This code works perfectly on all the fields! I won’t use the other stuff.
Thanks!musactParticipantWoot!
That did it.
I also added .wpcf7 input[type=”name”], .wpcf7 input[type=”subject”] to change those fields.
Thanksthanksthanks!musactParticipantCool, I guess I should have said that this is for the Contact Form 7 form. The stuff I saw on the wordpress.org forums said that this code was handled by the theme.
I added that code you just provided to the child theme, and it didn’t make the change of color in the Contact Form 7 text field.musactParticipantThanks!
That does highlight it, but how do you get it to be highlighted only when someone scrolls down the page?musactParticipantI would like to add this same feature, and I don’t understand your reply. Could you be more specific about where to add the code? (newb)
Thanks. -
