I’ve made some major test with 2 plugins that I personally consider “complicated”. WC Cache and the WP Security plugin. I’ve deactivated them, delete cache and whait for some days. Now, the popup login form isn’t presenting the issue anymore, so i’m pretty sure of those 2 plugins was generating the issue.

ParticipantHello @Andrei after checking everything possible i think I will just change the button link to redirect to the default wordpress login page (wp-login.php).
Would you please just help me out with the code I need to change (and in which file exactly)???? I would really appreciate it since this is my last chance… everyday the site is just stuck because the buttons doesn’t work..

ParticipantI’ve also tried a conditional profile fields plugin and had a problem with sweetdate. I’m still trying to find a way!

After speacking with the other, we belive isn’t so easy for us to MOVE everything to another server. Since we have several users using the site. Plus, we manage different servers and is kind of complicated to us to buy an hosting space with an another company just to make a test. (also for security issues, they normally don’t let you to manage several stuffs, as /var or /etc directory or even php.ini file. So it will be even more difficult.
I was considering change the login, instead of the pop-up to use a normal login form page, and redirect the users to their profile. So when a user clic on the LOGIN button in the right top corner will be redirected to a login page.
Do you confirm I need to change the header.php file? Thanks a lotNicole

Participant@Laura I’ve a quick question. Does the template have set a timeout request for the server. I mean, by default, does the template have a incorporated timeout timing in the script?? Thanks π

ParticipantThanks Laura, since the hosting, is our own server I’m gonna tell the guy who is incharged of it to check it out. I will let you know if we find a fix/solution/issue over there π

ParticipantHello Laura. The problem isn’t everyday, but random. As I wrote at the begginng I’Γ¬ve already tried:
WHAT IβVE TRIED
Iβve deavtivate all plugins, nothing changes
Iβve try different browsers (IE / Chrome / Firefox)
Iβve try to access on mobile phones, no success.
Empty the browser cache β nothing.So disabling even all the plugins wasn’t the solution :/

Maybe i’m missing something… But doesn’t the rtMedia plugin should have a custom Sweetdate theme? How Can i enable it?? This is what I see if I turn off/deactivate the “Stile di default rtMedia” (see attach).
As you see there are several errors, plus first screenshot was taken at 80% reso of the screen, because at 100% the image isn’t even visible, see screenshot N2

Participant@Abe sorry, I said it wrong.. the thing is like this:
I agree with terms and conditions is present in sweetdate/custom_buddypress/bp_functions.php

And the Avatar part is in: sweetdate/members/single/profile/change-avatar.php
The thing is that I’ve already translated both, Buddypress and Sweetdate .po and .mo files (100% TRANSLATED) so there are no missing strings I’m pretty sure about that. It looks like for some reason, it doesn’t “take” the translations.
@iulianolaru have you solved your problem?Nicole
ParticipantThanks for the answer @Abe but my Buddypress 2.1 is 100% translated, and that missing translations are from Sweetdate (register.php in sweetdate theme). So, the only way to translate them is to change the register.php code? :/

ParticipantOk seems the system obviously doesn’t support the .po and .mo files, so just check them on the google drive (And also seems I cannot edit my fist topic..).

I’ve almost the same issue. I’ve 100% translated Buddypress .po/.mo files and also Sweetdate strings translated but They are not displayed properly in the front end. For example:Your avatar will be used on your profile and throughout the site. If there is a <a href=\"http://gravatar.com\">Gravatar</a> associated with your account email we will use that, or you can upload an image from your computer.
I’ve traslated but nothing… it still displaying the string in english.
Same stuffs for the registration welcome message in the registration page and also forI agree with terms and conditions

Is this a bug? It will be fixed in the next release? Is very annoying to translate strings manually in the .php files… when all the work should be done by using the .po files π

ParticipantBut the “error” was notice from another iPad, then i tried on this one (5.1.1) so, I’m gonna ask about the iOS version of the first iPad and let you know that too. (Anyway on iOS 5.1.1 the error persist, as you see on the video)

ParticipantI’ve just solved this issue thanks to SeventhQueen support in Comments (themeForest section). The solution was:
It should work out of the box. Try to use just one field in the search. Since you donβt use the matching then make sure that in Sweetdate β Buddypress your Matching fields arenβt set
So, if anyone has the same issue, just consider that <h3>THE MATCHING FIELDS NEED TO BE EMPTY</h3> (in the Buddypress section in Theme Options).

ParticipantSorry for spamming, I confirm there is a problem with the search form. I’ve several users under “Milano” provincia, but if I do a research with that query it says there is no users. Same thing for my Name field or Organization Name field, or “Settore” Non of this search works… Any idea? This is kind of problematic for me.. seems the search module is REALLY IMPORTANT.

ParticipantOk so I’ve notice is a user profile issue. The thing (weird thing) is that on my cellphone is working right, but not from another cellphone. From this other cellphone the search form is not working. It could be a compatibility issue or something?
And other thing is, when i get the result, there is any way to show some information in the Profile Block Displayed ? As you can see in the screenshot is blank (in your demo age / gender ecc is show).
