March 25, 2015 at 21:23 in reply to: Popover Text Content on Click Not Allowing Paragraph Tags #51539nkyantalParticipant
Nevermind, I’m using a different element (Toggle) but in clarifying, I can use html markup for the popover hover but not for the click. For example, headers and paragraphs appear using the popover hover but when I switch from hover to click in the Backend Editor, the Front End on the site does not show the changes (it’s just one blob of text).
nkyantalParticipant@btn23kleo In the Quick CSS, try:
section.container-wrap.main-color[style] {padding-top: 30px !important; padding-bottom: 30px !important;}
You can change the padding to whatever you want in px. The default is 80px.
nkyantalParticipantHi, Catalin-
I am using Sweetdate and both the English .po and .mo files since I want to replace all instances of the word “Group” with “Project.” I have tried using both the plugin Codestyling Localization and replacing the .po and .mo files (after editing the strings using POEDIT) in the languages folder on Sweetdate and in the Sweetdate Child Theme but my changes do not show up. Any advice?
nkyantalParticipantOkay, had a new instance of WP installed and have this new information to add. When I click the “Edit Profile” button, it redirects to http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/1/ which returns a 404 page. However, when I put in the URL: http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/6/, it works and shows all the different profile groups (see screen shot) available to edit.
The About me group corresponds to the URL: http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/16/
The Myself Summary group corresponds to the URL (currently not shown because there are no profile fields in this group): http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/26/
The Looking for group corresponds to the URL: http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/36/
The Lifestyle group corresponds to the URL: http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/46/
The Physical group corresponds to the URL: http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/56/
Why does the end of the URL path start at “6” and go up in multiples of “10”? Where can I insert code to fix this and what code should I insert? Alternatively, how can I get the “Edit Profile” button to direct to the correct path of: http://www.wdev.meetcomakers.com/members/username/profile/edit/group/6/?
Thank you!

nkyantalParticipantThanks @Catalin. I believe the problem is the multiple Base (primary) Profile Field Groups in the admin Users / Profile Fields section. Is there any way to delete the primary profile field groups? I searched the Buddypress forums but could not find an answer. Is there code I can use to delete the extra primary profiel field groups? I need to get rid of them or I need new code to properly align what is pulling into the Sweetdate theme options / Buddypress admin area. I will send you a private message with a guest user NET ID (which you will use to log into the WP admin) and installation instructions on how to set up the VPN and then you should be able to see the issue. Can I please have an email address so I can get you a guest NET ID or should I just use support@seventhqueen.com?
nkyantalParticipant@inetwebguy: glad your problem is solved but it’s still not working for me. I would really appreciate some help from SeventhQueen! Upon further examination, the only Profile Field Group that is populating the drop down menu fields in the Sweetdate theme options / Buddypress admin area is the Lifestyle group. However, all of the Profile Field Groups and the fields within them are showing up in the Main Form and Horizontal Form areas. I really need some help. Thank you!
nkyantalParticipantAlso, just to add, in addition to no profile fields showing up to the right of my picture, when I click to edit my profile, the URL is this: mysitename.com/members/nyager/profile/edit/group/1/ and it returns the 404 page.
I believe the problem has to do with the extended profiles. I have deactivated and activated the “Extended Profiles” option in Settings / Buddypress several times and it seems that it is causing additional “Base (Primary)” Profile Field Groups to be created. I think this is causing things not to align correctly, especially when importing the BP profile fields into the Sweetdate / Buddypress admin area. When imported and saved, the fields in that area are doing something funny because some of them are marked as (optional) in the Sweetdate / Buddypress admin area whereas in the Users / Profile Fields area, the same fields are (Required). Please let me know if you can look into this as soon as possible. Thank you for all your help!
nkyantalParticipantThanks so much for the prompt reply @Abe. My IT team purchased KLEO on my behalf and it’s fantastic but I’m really trying to create a non-dating matching site and SweetDate would have been much easier for me to work with. I appreciate the help. Is there any way to create an admin panel like SweetDate’s theme options Buddypress in Kleo?
