Steps to reproduce:
Upload dynamic.css to uploads/customstyles
Observe that on the front page CSS functions load correctly (no strikethrough of text and colours correct)
Make changes in Themes > Customizer to colours (they load correctly in customizer) click save and publish.
Observe that dynamic.css has been deleted from uploads/customstyles and css doesn’t load correctly.
nmedsocParticipantI have confirmed the problem:
uploading the dynamic.css file from the offline assets to the uploads folder. works.
Then making a change via customizer causes this file to be deleted.
Thus it is definitely the theme not the host.
nmedsocParticipantThe dynamic.css file should be in that folder, but it is not.
Putting it there ‘fixes’ the problem, the CSS file then gets deleted.
nmedsocParticipantNo.
I changed the upload path ‘back’ to try and refix.
It is not fixed.
My host says there is no problem with permissions but: NetworkError: 404 Not Found – http://www.medsoc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/custom_styles/dynamic.css?ver=4.0.8
It appears the theme is deleting the CSS file.
nmedsocParticipantI have managed to change it back to how it was.
And it works as the CSS should.
However changing the media upload folder to wp-contents/uploads causes this to break
nmedsocParticipantThanks for your help.
I have disabled both cloudflare and caching plugins as well as all cache through my host.
I will see if this helps.
nmedsocParticipantAnd.. I managed to fix it myself.
I re-uploaded the plugin – and updated it.. Thanks
nmedsocParticipantHi Laura,
I’m looking to update Go Pricing to the latest version – as i’m having trouble importing demo data.
Could you help with this?
