ParticipantWhat does that even mean? Will they work or not? I have no idea what your statement means.
PcMaxx
ParticipantSure no problem. I’m sending this as private. Thank you so much for looking in to this. I just want the site perfect. Then I will give amazing feedback on what this Theme is capable of and how it can be customized.

ParticipantI did change to known working Fontawesome icons that work and tested first before I emailed support. They didn’t work either/ Futhermore, if you click on the activity tab, you see the Friends fontawesome in the lower menu bar displays. How can is this not supported in the below menu bar, but not above menu bar?
Please see attached image.
PcMaxx
ParticipantThats exacty what I did. Please take a look at the images I sent. You can see clearly I changed them in the CSS and published. No matter what they are changed too, nothing happens. Thanks for responding.

ParticipantHI there,
Sorry for the long delay in getting back to you. I’ve been handling other issues. I’ve added the code as you recommended, but Forums and Friends and Media do not show up. Neither does Visitors. All they have is a place holder now. Is there an update I need?
PcMaxx
ParticipantThe icons I meant I found on the actual Fontawesome site in the FREE section. I look at the others on the site you provided and go from there. THANK YOU. 🙂
Also, How do I make the Icons larger and on top of the profile text instead of the right, as well as the profile text and Fontawesome icons larger, if not the same size as you have on KLEO.
Thanks
PcMaxx
ParticipantI’s like to to change to the following FontAwesome icons:
– Visitors = <i class=”far fa-eye”></i>
– Profile = <i class=”fas fa-user”></i>
– Notifications = <i class=”fas fa-bell”></i>
– Messages = <i class=”fas fa-envelope”></i>
– Friends = <i class=”fas fa-user-plus”></i>
– Activity = <i class=”fas fa-clipboard”></i>
– Groups = <i class=”fas fa-users”></i>
– Forums = <i class=”fab fa-readme”></i>
– Media = <i class=”fas fa-images”></i>
– Settings = <i class=”fas fa-user-cog”></i>PcMaxx
ParticipantHi there, please review my attached image above for my other questions. Then I should be good.
PcMaxx
ParticipantI looked at your snapshot and somehow on the upgrade the Profile Search was disabled. Its on and the Advanced Search now displays! I have a few more quick questions. Please see the attached image. Then I think I’m good to go.
PcMaxx
ParticipantI must have missed the video. Could you kindly resend it so I can view it?
Thank you for hand-holding. I know I’m almost there.

ParticipantHere is the link from your online support with the CSS and instructions for Advanced Search.

ParticipantHi,
Did you look at my attachments? The Advanced search appearing on the site doesn’t match what I set for the requirements. Also, the appearance doesn’t look like the rest of the site. It looks munged.
PcMaxx
ParticipantI see there is something at the top I’m assuming is the Advanced Search, but the search fields do not match what I have in Advanced Profile Search I set temporary in the Users –> Profile Search. Please see the attached images. Also, do I add in the CSS from the Support page? I’m at a lose here on the correct instructions you have posted and the PHP you sent me. Do I need both?
Please see the attached.

ParticipantNo settings changed. Uploaded the theme update. That’s it. Waiting on a reply from last week asking why it had not changed on my end.
PcMaxx
ParticipantThat’s the obvious go to fix. Been there done that. It still doesn’t look right on my side. On my side the appearance hasn’t changed.

ParticipantThis doesn’t seem to be working on my end. Can you double check this?
PcMaxx
ParticipantAny luck on this without manually entering the code? I can do that, but its easier to get the colors with the slider.
PcMaxx
ParticipantHI there,
Can you please let me know why the Advanced Search isn’t displaying correctly on my site? Can you let me know what is set up wrong on my end?
PcMaxx
ParticipantJust in case you need to look:

ParticipantGood Morning.
I installed the updated theme, but the Advanced still looks the same. Do I need to change anything on my end?
Thanks,

ParticipantHI there,
Buddy Press Profile 4.8.6 was fixed by the developer shortly after I sent in a Support ticket. After reinstall of the plugin with the fix, the errors appear to be gone.
Thanks,
-PcmaxxPcMaxx
ParticipantThank for the quick reply. I rolled it back to 4.85 and the error went away. I’ll reach out to BP.

ParticipantWhen is the expected release date for the next Theme update. I’d really to have this working so I can launch the site fully.

ParticipantRadu,
I never mentioned hidden. From the beginning I asked about Advanced Search not displaying correctly at all. It look actually horrible. I followed the instructions, which apparently do not work. The instructions said to COPY all the CSS your site provided. Now, Re-installed the Themes, and removed ALL the CSS per your instructions and it still looks horrible.
And now there is mention of removing another CSS line which didn’t exist since I already removed the CSS Is there a communication breakdown here, or are you too much in a rush and not reading my responses.
I just want this to work as expected and look like the rest of the theme. Right now the Advanced Search looks horrible.
Better Single responses instructions would be just fine. All I want is this to work.
PcMaxx
ParticipantOK. But please remember, the Custom CSS was provided by your instructions on Support Site for the advanced search. All I did was copy/paste it.
I pulled out the documented CSS and it still appears munged. Is this how its supposed to look?
PcMaxx
ParticipantThank for you! Though which file do I replace that in? And what is replaced? I’m glad to do it so I learn.
PcMaxx
ParticipantSorry about that. I’m trying to get it positioned in the member profile about their profile picture, and under the Alias. In my case, the Alias @pcmaxx.

ParticipantHi there,
I totally understand this. But I didn’t disable the child theme. Your team did over another ticket I opened. Hence, why I brought it up so it wasn’t forgotten.
I do appreciate the help on everything sincerely tho. Just a little more to go.
