Please stop assuming that people do not search before posting. I have seen you post this numerous times and I find it to be a harsh response to a question from a paying customer.

I would also like for you to understand that searching for and finding the answer to an issue is a far better scenario for the customer as it eliminates what can sometimes turn into days of back and forth responses (due to the different time zones) – so it just doesn’t make sense that the majority of the people you say this to haven’t already tried a search.

That said, the solution was, in fact, buried in the thread you linked and because it was regarding a different topic I was unable to find it. Thank you for sharing that.

    Hi Radu,

The PW was changed over the weekend. My apologies for that. It’s reset back to that PW now.

    Thank you,

    That’s awesome Radu! Thank you!

    1. Is there a simple way for me to place a message there for people who don’t have a subscription? OR a way to not display the ‘My Subscriptions’ header if they don’t have a subscription?

    2. I created a new test user account and added them to a membership plan without a subscription. On this same admin page there is a ‘cancel’ button next to the membership. Our membership plans are paid in full so I would like to eliminate the possibility of someone accidentally canceling their access. Can you please tell me how I can remove that ‘cancel’ button?

I’ll post the account info in another message so this question can be viewed by others who might have the same question.

After sleeping on it, if possible, I would like to remove only the 2nd sentence (preferred option) OR change the link to the store so that it goes to the home page.

    Cheers!

Just to follow-up in case anyone else has the same question…

I received a response via the original thread post (linked in my first comment). For now this can only be edited via the main file.

    Thanks for your help Laura!

Thanks Abe. It definitely works when I change the main file. Hopefully I can remember to continue to do this with updates.

    Hi Laura,

This helped to remove the ‘my account’ button on the order details page (thank you!) but it also completely removed the ‘change payment’ button on the subscription details page.

I think there was a miscommunication on my part. I would like to keep the ‘change payment’ button. It is the next page (after the user clicks the ‘change payment’ button) that I would like to alter.

On that page there is a gray box containing the user’s credit card information. Inside of that box there is a ‘manage cards’ button that I would like to remove.

I have removed all of the code you provided so you can look at it again. To recap, can you please provide me the full code for this?:

    1. Remove the ‘my account’ button from the order details page (Go to: my account > my orders. Click the ‘view’ button in the ‘recent orders’ section. The ‘my account’ button can be seen at the bottom of the page.)

    2. Remove the ‘manage cards’ button from the credit card section on the page displaying the subscription payment method (Go to: my account. Click the ‘view’ button in the ‘my subscriptions’ section. Click the ‘change payment’ button. The ‘manage cards’ button can be seen in the gray box containing the credit card information.)

    Hi Laura,

I attempted the code but did not see any change. What should I try now?

    Hi Laura,

Can you possibly take a look at something else while you are in there?

On the order-pay page (my account > my orders > view subscription > change payment) there are 2 buttons: ‘manage cards’ & ‘change payment method’.

I would like to remove the ‘manage cards’ button completely and move the ‘change payment method’ button into that spot.

Can you please tell me how to do that?

I appreciate all of your help!

If you click ‘My Orders’ from the ‘My Account’ dropdown menu you will find a recent order available to view.

    Hi Laura,

I’ve attached my file. It’s uploaded to kleo-child/lib/plugin-woocommerce.

    Hi Abe,

I have attempted to edit the menu cart ‘go to the shop’ button in the manner you have described here but the changes are not taking. I am uploading the edited config.php to kleo-child > lib > plugin-woocommerce.

I changed the link to a URL from my site and changed the text on the button but neither of those changes are showing up. (I cleared my cache also; still no change.) Can you please tell me what I am missing?

    Thanks!

    Radu,

The solution ended up being almost exactly what you suggested in the beginning and probably something I could have been able to figure out if I knew enough about code. Thank you so much for your help!

This was added to the style.css in the kleo-child folder to give full control over the video output size:

    embed,iframe,object,video {max-width: none;max-height: none;}

    Cheers!

    Hi Radu,

I just received a message from s3 Media Maestro stating they resolved the issue. I am unable to view the fix at the moment but wanted to let you know this happened before you put any additional efforts in.

I will post again when I can confirm the solution to be valid and share the fix or ask for additional help.

    Thanks much for your time!

    Hi,

I just tested and am able to login with the credentials. Did you notice the URL was different? It isn’t a dot com. Maybe that’s what is causing the issue?

    Thanks!

    Radu,

I’ve been viewing with Safari & Chrome. Firefox does the exact opposite and makes the video extremely tiny. 🙁

    Radu,

I recreated the issue on a test site so that I could give you access. The login information is as follows:

    leanexpert.academy/wp-admin
    UN: KleoSupport
    PW: test1test2

    The issues again are:
    1. The video originally displays really large and after a few seconds, drops down in size.
    2. The size it drops down too is still larger than I would like. I would like for it to be roughly 720×450.
    3. I inserted the code you provided before into the Kleo Child Theme style.css. If you play the video you will see the video is appearing smaller than the actual player.

Thank you so much for your help!

    Radu,

I have discovered something new that may help. It’s the actual media player that is not resizing. When the code you provided is implemented the video does resize inside of the player. Are you able to tell me what code to use in order to adjust down the size of the video player?

    Thank you.

    Hi Radu,

I don’t see a ‘general options’ section within theme options. I know I’ve seen this area for entering Quick CSS before but I’m not finding it now. (Maybe too early in the morning?)

I placed the code into kleo-child > style.css but it didn’t change anything. Maybe that’s not the same location?

I’ve uploaded the site and made it temporarily visible. Can you please look at this page? http://www.leanexpertacademy.com

I’ve tried both google chrome and safari. In both instances the video loads really large and then drops down to about half the size. The second size is still too large. I want it to be a little over 1/3 of the size that is currently displaying.

Thank you so much for your help!

Can you please explain to me why it is necessary to wait until the next Kleo update with no determined date?

One of the reasons I was willing to pay the cost of the Kleo template was because it included the plugins. Now I’m sitting on something that is broken and has a fix but I don’t have access to it.
