Hey Abe, Its still not working the way I would expect it to. You dont have to do it now, but when you get a chance, bring up a location in google maps. Then click on the gear icon in the lower right, then Share and Embed. Copy the embed code into the VC Map Element WITHIN AN ACCORDION then view it.

Ahhh, it doesnt work right when its in part of the accordion that’s initially collapsed. If its in the first element that expanded on page load, then its fine.

Hmmm. Well, I put the whole iFrame code when I tested on VC Demo site and it worked. And the instructions say paste the iframe code. And its a pain in the rear to copy out just that piece. Shall I go on? LOL 🙂

Okay, I have it partially figure out. The iframe link is getting screwed up. You were missing some important code in your vc_gmaps.php file. I’ve attached my edited copy which is basically the vc_gmaps.php that comes with VC with a few changes.

It works in its own element now and partially within the accordion. Within the accordion, it displays, but the map isnt zoomed properly.

@abe – This is happening no matter where you put the map. I just tried putting it in an accordion element on a portfolio page. The current page loaded within an iFrame element. So then I tried just putting in the link to the map, but it doesnt display at all. Then I tried putting on a page by itself and the same thing happened. See screenshot.

It seems to work if I put the iframe code in a text element by itself, but not within an accordion.

I suck at calling functions in classes, so the above will just load all the missing js files one by one. To test this (DONT DO THIS) I removed all the code in the enqueue_scripts function that buddypress uses to make sure that none of those files would load. Seems to work. Let me know.

I just looked and your site isn’t loading several buddypress javascript files. Not just buddypress.js. :/ It should be loading 6 of them, but is only loading 1. All of those files get loaded by the enqueue_scripts function in buddypress-functions.php (around line 232). Maybe you can call that function instead of the wp_enqueue_scripts line. Its in a class so you’d have to account for that.

For the button, add ‘kleo-show-login’ to the buttons css. That will trigger the login modal.

Because its not a page. Its a post… a custom post type to be exact.

You can build a portfolio ‘page’, but it wont be listed in your portfolios. That might not be an issue if you’re not going to have multiple portfolios.

The easy way to convert it to a page is to copy the code in classic mode from your portfolio into a new page. Be sure to delete the portfolio post.

@dave Are you saying that the javascript that unhides the buttons works? Or are you just saying that you see the buttons right when the page loads? What about your comment buttons? Do those unhide the comment form without reloading the page? Its an important difference.

In any case, its not a css issue in @chazzzzy case.
