Since I do not know what CDN is, I don’t believe we have that. And no, no new plugins added. This problem has, as far as I know, existed since the beginning. (Video was never loading properly on mobile devices, I just recently found out there was a work around in setting up a secondary slider to show up on mobile devices.) This is a brand new website.
Thank you again for your patience Laura!
velexiaParticipantLaura,
Not sure what to tell you. I just a minute ago from posting this logged in just fine with that exact information, copy and pasted. What program are you using for your FTP? Maybe I can try to replicate the problem. Alternatively I can post whatever CSS file you need here I suppose. I mean the FTP is working so… weird.
I mean I get an “unknown certificate” error, because we don’t have ssl on teh website, but it goes through just fine when I click “ok.”
velexiaParticipantAh, I see what happened. For some reason when I posted the info it added a, http:// to the ftp host. Remove that and it should work fine. I just tested it and it was working fine. Not sure why it added an http://. So weird.
velexiaParticipantLaura,
No that was all I did was follow those directions. Everything else was standard. My only goal was to set it up so there was an alternate slider for mobile browsers since the video wasn’t loading well for many mobile platforms.
Thanks,
CeliavelexiaParticipantLaura,
I did the alternative option at the bottom as well when things stopped working. Nothing seems to fix it of the options there.
I’m using http://mobiletest.me/ and actually now it seems none of them have the slider working now.
I’m very confused as to what I’m doing wrong. I’ll post login information as well in a private response because I suspect that will be your next question.
Thank you,
CeliavelexiaParticipantLaura,
Can one set up a slide to something or that nature to work on mobile when the video slide won’t? I thought I had that covered by having a still image behind that layer in case the video wouldn’t load.
Thank you in advance for any ideas of how to keep this theme functional and nice looking with mobile phones. 🙂
Thanks,
CeliavelexiaParticipantTo my knowledge nothing has been done to the style.css sheet. Oh dear, this is starting to sound serious.

I uh… yeah… that fixed it.

The button is still showing up to the right of where it should. (Sorry this is such a bother, thanks for helping!)
