is there any way of having them first pick the level, then register?
or someone have them pick a level during registration?alim.jivrajParticipantthat’s what i thought. i have buddypress user account type pro…single most worst plugin. very little support from the dev.
i was hoping to do that with membership proalim.jivrajParticipanttrying to do the same thing.
where do i add it in the functions file…at the very end after all the text?alim.jivrajParticipanthi, so if i’m understanding this correctly, instead of going to the registration page, they go to the membership/levels page. but once they finished selecting the membership/levels page, do they automatically get redirected to the registration page, or do they have to go to it themselves?
is there a way they can register first and then directed to the membership/levels page automatically? so before it directs them to the page that says ‘sign up complete, check your email’, it forces them to select a membership/level.
thanks
alim.jivrajParticipantjust thought of something additional…i’m ok if this box is checked. the issue is when bbpress autoassigns roles, it interferes with their primary role. i want their primary role to be a subscriber (as an example), when i edit the user, their role is blank. it’s like bbpress over rides this, makes them a participant but makes their primary role blank.
alim.jivrajParticipanti couldn’t figure out how to replace the heart with another icon, but did figure out how to delete the heart. good enough.
thanksalim.jivrajParticipantforgive my ignorance, but i added into that file, but no luck.
i noticed it said ‘replaces’, does that mean i need to add my own icon?to make it simple, can you tell me where the heart icon file is located…i’ll just delete it.
thanks in advance
alim.jivrajParticipanti get it now.
you can add a description (already knew that), but you can’t can’t edit the content (the text beside the check boxes). you can disable them all (which is what i did), but you can’t create your own.
thanksalim.jivrajParticipanthey, i don’t see where i can enter my own content in under Sweetdate > memberships. all i see here ‘Memebership settings’, where i can set things like ‘Restrict members directory’ and ‘Show field in membership table’. for some reason, at the top, it says ‘Settings related to membership. You need to have Paid Memberships Pro plugin activated’. but it’s already activated, it’s working on my site.
the content or bullet point for each level is pre-inputted (the first bullet is ‘view members directory’, second is
‘view members profile’, third is ‘access group directory’, etc…), i want to change that content.
am i missing something?alim.jivrajParticipantme too. well half of it worked, but that was the half i already knew. found this, it might help. i had to do mine manually.
