When you say “doing its own filtering of the get_avatar function” — what’s this mean exactly?

if so, could you let me know what’s involved in setting an avatar correctly (for instance, what happens when a user uploads an avatar manually the way you did)?

hmm… may have lost you a little here? basically you’re saying then it may be the social login plugin that’s not correctly updating the avatar file?

Hmm… tried adding in this code, and unfortunately doesn’t seem to be solving the issue for us?

note, it seems btw the issue may be that it’s looking for a gravatar image, rather than the default profile image (or whatever the main directory section area is grabbing?)

that’s the question here… how do I disable it. I just remove those files from the kleo child folder?

ah, ok. Yeah, i love the theme, just has installed another theme on a secondary site I was using and it seemed to be causing conflicts. but ok, sounds like I guess it has to be manual… no worries!

Ok, well i tried deactivating all plugins, which didn’t solve the problem, so it’s not a plugin conflict. How do i test the other child theme stuff? Can I, I guess, just create a new child, then slowly copy over the additional files?

Note, it’s also not doing the pop-in effect (even with all plugins deactivated). Curious what could be going on?

Also, I’ve just tried updating the theme, and it’s giving me the message “Download failed. Forbidden”. Anything I can do here? Should I just download the new version from themeforest and upload (will my child theme still be able to recognize it if I do this?)

    Thanks!

Also, additional unrelated question — is there a spot where can control what types of results are surfaced in search? Currently for instance my site surfaces things like pages, event venues, etc, whereas I want it only to surface posts and a couple other content types…

Yes, the product archive is set to Shop, as per attached.

And in fact, I’ve actually completed that same exercise, and it’s weird.. when I create the test shop page, it will display widgets, but then if I then set the product archive to that page, the widgets (all widgets) will no longer show up…

perhaps I could provide my login credentials and you could poke around directly?

This is great. To be honest, I must have downloaded just the install component at first, so this is the first time I’m seeing the documentation!

Lemme work on it a bit..

Thanks very much for the help!

Actually, so… looks like you create a page, go to the text tab, and then paste it in there.

What about the images though — how do I get these in?

Also, I was thinking more like the individual home pages… eg the Pinterest style home (http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/pinterest/)

    Thanks!
