I have accomplished my goal, I do however have an issue. The model dialog seems to remove the wordpress admin bar once it it is closed.

Any ideas on a solution to this problem?

or you have spammers registering. Thats what happened to me, bogus registration. Download the stop spammer plugin, and akismat.

forgot to mention, the pop-up menu requires just the user name, email, and password. in any case, this will bring lots of bogus registration. This will require Maintenance time to sift through making sure if that is a real person or bot populating the fields.

I had two additional register page, I had to delete. buddypress remapping to register page.

Here is a question for you. Lets say that the trial account expiration is 1 month and the account expires. If the users decides to upgrade for paying membership before the date, sure enough he/she will choose to do so.

1. What happens to expired account?
2. Does the user require to create new account to continue the membership?
3. How do you prevent the user (he/she) from keep looping using the trial period say “30 days account” from not paying? is there a way to have the expired user mandatory upgrade, if deciding to come back after 30 days expiration?

4. Also where would go to restrict what a “trial” membership could be entitled to?

I am having the same issue. I created a members-loop.php and inserting the code i get an error. When i i add the code to the articles/loop.php, the code doesnt work.

example of error for scenario 1

Try WordPress plugin “Term of Use” it has not been update since 2011.

Solved the issue.

The “Term of Use” plugin not playing nice . Deactivated the plugin, BAM !!! works.
