Hi Laura –
We implemented the code you sent us in our child theme css. The width was off but we edited it from 360 to 376 so that it is now the same width.
However, the top part of the header is not transparent and we’re not sure why as we did paste in the full code you sent us.
Can you take a look again at the code you sent us and figure out why it’s not displaying in a transparent manner?

YOU CANNOT EDIT THE OTHER AREAS OF THE PROFILE THAT WAY! The ‘EXTENDED PROFILE’ is what we want our members to be able to access and edit. WE’VE ALREADY TOLD YOU THIS IN A SEPARATE POST.
Where do we ‘click on the button’? We can’t find anything with the words/text we are looking to edit.
1) We do NOT see any place to create a .mo file BUTTON – only a ‘generate mo-file’
2) How do you create a .mo file BUTTON?
3) And once we do create it what do we do with it?

Please share with us what plugin you are using and what you had to do beyond installing the plug and enetering in basic info to get this to work for you. Thank you!

Yes we know that so we actually created a real page for the parent menu (Our Services) and set the page attributes correctly for ‘Rental Services’ so now ‘Rental Services’ does display in the breadcrumb menu BUT it is still a ‘dead’ link in the dropdown menu.
I believe we may have found the issue – now we need the solution from you to correct this.
Please see the screenshot.
The parent menu item/link for ‘Rental Services’ is MISSING in the breadcrumb menu! So this we believe is the reason the menu items/links are ‘dead’ and not working.
Please reply with a solution we can implement into our code to correct this issue and insert the missing breadcrumb menu item/link, thank you.

That is NOT a solution.
You NEED TO PROVIDE THE PAGE IN YOUR CODE THAT HAS THAT TEXT DURING THE SIGNUP BECAUSE IT’S NOT RELATED TO WORDPRESS. WORDPRESS ONLY ASKS ONCE FOR A ‘USERNAME’… THE SECOND TIME ITS ASKED ON THE REGISTRATION IS COMING FROM YOUR TEMPLATE THEME.
PLEASE GIVE US THE AREA IN THE CODE WE CAN EDIT THIS!!!!!

This does NOT solve the display text problem on the front-end in the profile.
We changed the name and it is good for the register page but now it shows up on the profile as ‘Username – Please Re-enter which looks awful and cannot be left like that (see screenshot).
There is nothing we can do about this except to remove the top lines which have to be on your code somewhere as this is a custom theme. Just tell us where we can delete this top line or provide code that we can insert into the child theme so it will be ‘hidden.’

2) There has to be code for it somewhere – otherwise it would not display. SMH.

FIRST OFF –
Whatever ‘Laura’ gave us as a response in this last answer is now apparently, over riding the transparency feature as we set is at ‘.1’ and it is still displaying at 100% with no transparency whatsoever. See attached photo.
We still want the transparency feature to work and we’re not sure why it doesn’t now.
SECONDLY –
We paid our money if full and thst should entitle us to PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT which we really haven’t gotten.
THIRDLY –
This is now the SECOND TIME ‘Laura’ has provided very INCORRECT AND NON-PERFORMING CODE to a rather simple request.
FOURTH –
This is NOT ‘custom work’ whatsoever. We are NOT asking you do develop some new functionality or anything of the sort. For crying out loud we are just asking to change the color of the background text area LOL (as well as the homepage search box area in another post). PRETTY SIMPLE STUFF IN TERMS OF A ‘REQUEST.’

We asked to change the BACKGROUND COLOR of the text area which is currently #ffffff!!!!
We only need the line to change the color on the profile page!!!!!
We’re already using it. But we still want the captcha to display on our register page. Please tell us how to do that. Thank you.
