I think I found the problem. I just don’t think I can fix it. For me, my “registration settings” seem to be mismapped after the theme update. Is it possible this is happening with you @twoshoes?
Now when I change the settings to allow users to register and add a subdomain, I get the behavior of the option just above that only let’s users register then add subdomains later. And so on up the list.
girlinparisParticipant…or is it the new “membership” feature? I can’t even find the membership feature. lol
girlinparisParticipantI am having a similar problem in that users get registered unless they choose “give me a blog”. At that point, the dropdown no longer works and the page refreshes upon “complete signup”. After that, the user/blog never gets registered. Not trying to hijack your post, but wondering if the dropdown being gone with the new update and forcing a page refresh is what we are all having issues with.
girlinparisParticipantCorrection, it is only happening when signing up for a blog during registration. Regardless of the browser. The user does not get registered and the blog does not get registered. I’m sorry if I’m a pain, just trying to keep you updated as I test my site to hopefully cut down on your dev time!
Love this theme, can’t wait to get all the bugs out. It’s perfect for what I’m building.
girlinparisParticipantThis is the image URL that’s broken. I see now why it is, not sure where it’s located to change it.

girlinparisParticipantUpdate, this is only happening in FireFox when also signing up for a blog. FireFox doesn’t let me tab through the fields either, so maybe it’s a FF thing? I don’t like to use it but some people do. 🙁
girlinparisParticipantI found the problem. I had uninstalled jetpack because it was too slow. In doing that, I had to reinstall it-connect to wordpress.com-uninstall it again. However, the gravatars are working! Thanks anyways…:)
girlinparisParticipantI am not testing on a local domain. It is live here: http://www.socialhive.biz However, I have a landing page in place until I launch the site. Perhaps I am using Gravatar wrong? I have it chosen in the settings under discussion.
girlinparisParticipantAnd apparently it is only on the new mixed form on the frontpage. When signing up through the facebook option instead, it signs the person up but no activation email. This is fine with me, but I want to use the mixed form.
girlinparisParticipantHi…I LOVE this feature! However…new signups aren’t registering with the system or sending the activation emails. I changed my theme to a default BB theme and the system worked normally. So I know it isn’t a plugin. I don’t have a caching system installed. Any help is much appreciated!

girlinparisParticipantThat’s ok, I have decided to go with a different angle and it works with that. It’s a better solution anyway. Thanks for the great theme! Looking forward to some new features and the facebook signup/login working. 🙂
girlinparisParticipantI would like my search to result in groups instead of members. Is there an easy way to change the results that the search displays? I just want someone to be able to search by city instead of individual members. “Find your city group to get started”
THanks!
