In the plugins section it simply notifies me that there is an update for the Revslider plugin. I thought that I had read in the documentation that in order to update the plugin that I needed to go to Appearance>Install Plugins and the update would be available there.

I also received a theme update yesterday and there is no way to update the RevSlider plugin, nor was it updated.

I have two websites with almost identical themes and plugins. I have the exact same situation on the other site as well.

Settings are as you asked… There is no change…

Deactivate the Child Theme and everything functions properly using the primary KLEO theme.

So…

I then deleted the child theme and reinstalled it. No change, in fact when I reinstalled the Child Theme the formatting settings reappeared as well.

Then…

I deleted the Child Theme from FTP, not knowing if that would delete all of the files associated with the child theme. Reinstalled the child theme through the WP dashboard and the formatting as well as the issue reappeared again…

Radu resolved this issue.. It was related to another issue…

It was caused by a JetPack setting.. JetPack>settings>mobile themes – Disable

I genuinely appreciate your help. I am embarrassed to admit this but…

I was also experiencing other formatting issues when viewed on a mobile device. If you look at the 7-7 picture above you will see a line through a sentence. Long story short it turned out to be a setting in JetPack under mobile theme. Once I deactivated the setting the theme functions beautifully on mobiles. It looks beautiful as well.

I looked into the Buddy Boss plugin as suggested and there were not such settings.

Next, I looked into JetPack.

JetPack>Settings – Then I selected Mobile Theme

I didn’t see any settings that looked like they would alleviate the issue at hand so I deactivated the Mobile Theme option altogether.

Cleared my server cache and it resolved all of my problems. In fact there were may other formatting issues on the mobile device that I hadn’t mentioned.

It looks perfect now.

I have deleted my old themes and now just have 3 themes, WP 2015, Kleo and Kleo Child. I cleared the server cache again with the same results.

I am using both buddy boss and jet pack. I will look for settings as you suggested and disable them one at a time.

Your time and your patience are greatly appreciated.

When I look in the dashboard under themes I see the Kleo Child as the active theme. I also do not have any themes loaded that are named anything close to ‘Pub’.

I have WP themes from 2012 to 2015 along with the last 3 themes that I previousy used and their child themes. If I back the website up first, would it be beneficial to delete the themes that I no longer use?
