ParticipantI can confirm that this is also happening to me as well. When logging in the “sending info please wait” then ” You are already logged in. Please refresh page” which does not redirect to the page selected in s2member
klosurdo
ParticipantFigured this one out.
The problem was being created by the plugin s2member. The member had logged in from multiple IP address and caused s2member to think their was a breach of account. S2member suspended the account

ParticipantOk thanks,
I think i have just about solved my issue.
One question regarding the forum icon. When I click on the icon it goes to
<a id="nav-forum" href="http://www.cmpg-annex.org/groups/post-processing-group/forum/">This weeks image</a>
Is there a way to make this link to a different url? Something I can put in the child theme? Thanks
klosurdo
ParticipantI have multiple groups but I just wanted one of the groups to have a Tab that links elsewhere. Is that possible?
klosurdo
ParticipantThanks,
Looks like I finally got everything somewhat back to normal. Do you recommend anyone in particular for customizing w3 cache? What are the cost like?
klosurdo
ParticipantOk,
Deleted the everything to do with w3cache along with the cmpgannex root. I now have access to the dashboard trying to
get to the point before I jacked stuff up. Still having a problem installing buddy press plugin. After I activate screen goes white and can’t return to dashboard until I delete buddy press via FTP. Any ideas? At this point in the game should I do a complete reinstall? I seem to be having a lot of issues that I cannot sort out. Think the W3 cache did a number on me.
klosurdo
ParticipantOk as always thanks for your suggestions and help. Don’t remember editing that file and usually always do through the child.
I copied the original code back into the /kleo/lib/plugin-buddypress/config.php
I disabled and removed w3 cache and get the following error…
The files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home1/cmpgorg/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home1/cmpgorg/public_html/wp-content/object-cache.php.
So my question is did w3 create those files in the root and now those plugins are stored there and cannot be accessed
with out the plugin w3 enabled. Not sure what to do next.klosurdo
ParticipantI thought it was being served from the root. Not sure when it got changed around to include cmpgannex. Thought it might have been something w3 cache created. To be honest I am not sure.

ParticipantThanks,
Just sent you the login info via the other topic. Boy the novice in me really comes out when I jack something up.

ParticipantThanks so much, not sure what I did…

ParticipantThese are the errors I receive when trying to activate buddypress, its the only plugin I could not install.

ParticipantHelp @sharmstr,
I contacted buddypress to see if they could help me with the second question an they provided the following responce
target=”_blank”>https://buddypress.org/support/topic/automatic-links-in-profile-fields/
So I created the bp-custom.php file in my plugin directory and inserted the code and it broke my site. I tried deleting the bp-custom.php file but it still wont bring the site back up.
I have absolutely no idea how to fix
Any suggestions are appreciated
Thanks
klosurdo
ParticipantThanks @sharmstr,
The first solution worked great and removed the text…thanks
I will contact Buddypress on the second. I like the idea of having certain fields to show others with the same info however, in that particular field it seems to have arbitrarily selected text to do that and looks strange.

ParticipantI was able to remove all the other menu items I did not want the public to view, just won’t work for activity.

ParticipantI received the following from RTMedia regarding comments…
Right now there isn’t any such filter available to hide comments from non-logged in users but we will add one for this purpose in future release of plugin.
Thank you for pointing out on this.
klosurdo
ParticipantOk will send a message and report back. I have RTPro so they usually respond quick.

ParticipantThanks for your help, that little mistake was what was causing the error. Not sure if you guys get enough credit so I made an official comment regarding your services (see screenshot). Hope this helps you!
Thanks Again

ParticipantI found the following plugin that works great for this. Hope this helps!

ParticipantAnswered this on myself for once.
I adjusted the medium image size in RT Media settings. However, this does not effect images already currently in the stream, only new images added to the stream.
klosurdo
ParticipantThanks! While 3000px was not what I had in mind, I scaled back to a more reasable 150px.
Do you sleep dreaming about code? You guys are awesome!
Thanks
Kenklosurdo
ParticipantFound out this was being caused by RT media Pro, specifically turning on the url upload option.
klosurdo
ParticipantContacted RtMedia,
FYI. While on there list of things to do in the future, it is on the back burner.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks for the reply Laura,
I guess for some reason I thought it was there after I first installed KLEO. When I noticed it was not working I thought I switched something off somewhere.
In any case, Buddypress Activity Comments Notifier works wonderfully without problem.
Happily another question resolved.
Many Thanks!
Ken

ParticipantOk I have installed “BuddyPress Activity Comment Notifier” and now I see comments. Am I going crazy? I thought that when I originally first installed this theme I was getting those types of notifications without a plugin…
