the field is the profile field name at Users > Profile fields
And the value is the option of the field, for example to count women online we use
field “I am a” and value “Woman”

Go to Settings > Buddypress > Pages and check if you have groups page selected, if yes, then that is the groups directory, just add it to your menu 🙂

Same for the forum, go to yourwebsite.com/forums and inside a forum, below all there should be a form to create a topic, let me know 🙂
