Hello, sorry for the late reply, please try the following:
1- Go to Settings > Permalinks, make sure its at POST NAME and click SAVE
2- Deactivate some plugins and test again
3- Check Settings > Buddypress > Pages to see if all are well setup

Hello, for a background color for the main container use this css at style.css of child theme

Hello, right now there is not a way to limit the number of updates, maybe a premium plugin that adds buddypress elements to visual composer has that options but i do not know any at the moment

Hello, right now there is not an easy way to do that as it would require to edit the admin menu of wordpress, i suggest to contact a developer to edit it as it requires time and knowledge.
I am sorry i do not know an easy way to do that than by code and its something a developer should do
