I tried registering with facebook and it’s still not using pulling the avatar from FB. Any ideas?
moonpickParticipantI’m also having this problem. I can preview it fine but when I set it to the homepage there is a serious problem with the layout, everything gets screwed up. The second section with the buttons “Joine Now” and “trailer” gets cutoff. I tried going from “boxed” layout to “full width”: and same problem
I followed the documentation correctly and still can’t get it to work. Any help would be great and thanks for the update, really appreciate the work!
moonpickParticipantCopy the “page-parts” folder from Sweetdate to the Sweetdate-child. Then edit home-register-form.php and you will see the text at the top to change.
moonpickParticipantI think it’s pretty clear which one is which as one field has Numbers (1-30), the other has the Month names and the final one has the Years. Doesn’t get much more clear than that? Having said that, I think a date ticker (calender) to select the year would be a great implementation for the next update though 🙂 Anyways keep up the good work sqadmin, I know you’re busy!
moonpickParticipantThank you very much for the support, I appreciate it. However, I still can’t figure this out. I followed your instructions, copied the code to sweetdate-child/functions.php and the date selector still won’t show up. I simply want to show the date selector on the form on the homepage. It looks like the code you provided was for three separate fields. Is it not possible to have a date selector? Thanks again..
moonpickParticipantI’d like to use this also. I’ve tried the “date picker” from profile fields, however it doesn’t show up as an option under “numerical fields” or “matching fields,” only “age range fields” which doesn’t work correctly. I’d like something similar to the car-sharing theme, but matching people based on when (date) they are travelling to a country. Is this possible? Any help is much appreciated, thanks again for all the help!
moonpickParticipantI added extra fields as you specified, but nothing shows up on the registration page.
Can you please explain how to do this because people won’t register if there is no Terms of Agreement. Or if possible, could you add a checkbox to the next update, as this is kind of important for a dating site, thanks!
moonpickParticipantJust install this plugin: BP Auto Login on Activation
It worked for me, no need to tweak with code.
moonpickParticipantGo to Users>Profile Fields then edit Country at the bottom and reorder the list. 🙂
moonpickParticipantYes I’ve added the Facebook integration, I get the popup with the register with facebook link if I click the “signup” button in the top right. But with the “Join us for Free” button it just goes to the regular registration page. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.
moonpickParticipantI’ve added this exactly as you said to both the theme and child theme but nothing happened, I’ve updated to 2.0? Any ideas? Thanks
moonpickParticipantThanks for the response, but same issue with this plugin, still sends the default email. Oh well, I can live with it for now I guess.
moonpickParticipant+1, this would be great. Also is there a way to let users see who viewed their profile, and maybe only restrict this to paying members? BTW thanks for the awesome update Sqadmin!
moonpickParticipantIs there a way to make the user upload an avatar (required) on the regular registration page (not FB)? This would be great as I notice users don’t upload pics which is not very good. Thanks for the help in advance!
moonpickParticipantIs there a way to show lifestlye, physical and self summary in the profile as pill tabs like the following:
moonpickParticipantYeah this is a pretty big issue. It’s actually not forgot password but “Forgot Your Username” When you click that it asks for email address, you enter and it sends you an email. The problem is it doesn’t give you your username but your email address as your username, which is completely wrong. So basically if the user forgets what they’re username is they are pretty much screwed. This needs to be fixed. Thanks!
moonpickParticipantNevermind I figured it out. I had to install the “BP Disable Activation Reloaded” plugin to disable email activation and then manually create one profile, and the rest showed up!
moonpickParticipantThanks for this. It seems the redirect works fine, but when the user logs in with facebook it doesn’t redirect. Any ideas? Thanks
moonpickParticipantI checked that option. To be clear, the members are listed when I go to the members page, but under “All Members” it still says 4 not 29, event though it shows all the members. Strange, any other ideas?
moonpickParticipantAwesome, thanks for the help, worked perfectly! The images weren’t clickable but I figured it out, thanks!
moonpickParticipantI’d also like to do this. How would we go about editing this? Is it in the app.css file? Thanks
