Hi Kieran,

I was wondering if you could help me resolve an issue that’s been bugging me for a long time but never really paid attention to it. On http://tantralovers.org/members/ page, when I click ALL MEMBERS, STUDENTS, TEACHERS, or page numbers at the bottom, nothing happens. The page is static and doesn’t redirect. Can you please help to resolve?

Kieran! I tried deactivating one plugin – BuddyPress Lock because it did not deliver what I needed and suddendly NEWS Focus section is working! I really apologize for taking your time when this was my fault and I really appreciate your quick responses. Please close this ticket. The issue has been resolved 🙂

Hi Kieran,

I did what you suggested, now the page looks like in your screenshot, but the result is still the same. I have no posts displayed in NEWS Focus widget. Any other suggestions what I can do? Please feel free to do some modifications.

Hi Kieran,

I had those selected just at the time of taking screenshot. I tried all different combinations, all selected, none selected, but mostly with only post field selected. When I try with different shortcodes, all is working fine. It is only News focus which displays no articles, no matter how I build a query. I will provide login credentials if necessary.

Hi Kieran,

I wanted to celebrate when I received your reply because it really helped me to understand how this works, so simple 🙂 I have no issues with ‘NEWS Ticker’ and ‘NEWS Highlight’ elements, but I’m still unable to get ‘NEWS Focus’ working. Your instructions helped a lot, now I see how this is implemented to the page and how to populate categories. The problem is that not one article is showing up. I selected ‘posts’ chose categories and did all required configuration (to my knowledge) but for ‘NEWS Focus’ nothing is showing up, apart from the names of categories I choose. Attached are the screenshots.

Thanks for the reply, it helped. Problem was I did not have the shortcodes enabled in Theme options 🙂 Now I see ‘All News’ and ‘Lifestyle’ in both magazine sections. The problem is that both sec5ions are empty, no articles are showing up. Could you please help me understand or dir3ct me to some guide where I can find how to add articles to these shortcode sections like you have in your deko example?

Thanks for the response, but it seems that something is not working correctly here:

1. I believe default registration/login links should be automatically updated to redirect to new ‘home register’ landing page after home registered page is installed without need of manual implementation. I don’t have problem with manually creating new custom links, but this will not solve the issue as I can’t update these links in widgets and other places…

2. From ‘home-registration’ landing page user should be automatically redirected to default registration page where all additional information is filled out. This is not working on my site and user is registered just with basic field displayed in ‘home-register’ page even though I have additional custom fields set up.

May I ask this issue being looked into as this has been ongoing for three weeks now.

Sorry, let me give you a brief update. With Sensei plugin activated, facebook login is possible, but the website doesn’t redirect me to logged in interface. When I click on facebook login button, I actually login to my profile, but the screen doesn’t change, I’m left with ‘login’ window and manually have to close and and then reload the page. This doesn’t look good for new potential members who are not aware of the issue. When I deactivate Sensei plugin, everything works correctly and user is redirected to his profile when loging via facebook button. I see there is incompatibility between Sensei plugin and facebook login. Can this be looked into and solved in your future update?

So I see this is confkicting with Sensei plugin. As Sensei is integral part of your theme I dont’t think there should be major conflits like this. Can this be fixes in your future update or can you advise me how to solve the issue?

Well if I enter http://www.tantralovers.org/home-register then yes, it works, but when the user goes through normal registration p4ocess, i.e. clicks on ‘register’ tab on main menu, he is redirected to http://www.tantralovers.org/register page. Do I need to manually force each ‘register’ button on a page to redirect to home-register? I think this should adoptthe rule automaticaly?

Thanks for the reply, but I cant get it to work. I set register page as ‘Register’ in BuddyPress settings and have K- elements plugin installed, but Home Register page is not loading. I tried deactivating plugins but didn’t help.

I created new APP but the issue remains the same. It works correctly when I click facebook button from http://www.tantralovers.org/wp-admin interface, but when I click facebook button from login/register menu tab on my home page, nothing happens. I just see http://tantralovers.org/#

Dear Laura,

I do not have an option to choose ‘Activate page’ from the list. My permalinks settings in the common section is ‘Post name’. In product permalinks base I changed it from Default to ‘Custom base’ but I’m still getting 404 error.
