Usually when you get a overlap its because you’ve turned on transparent main menu, but didnt turn off breadcrumbs.

In general, its best to turn off transparent main menu at the site level and only turn it on where needed.

No problem. But they will probably say “Its a theme issue”. So, before contacting them, enable the 2014 theme to see if you still have an issue with buddypress. If you do, then you can say to them “Its not theme related!!” 🙂

I dont know. That’s my point. Have you tried disabling all the extra plugins? Have you tried from different network? Have you looked for errors in your server log?

Just because you cleared the cdn, maybe the cdn that is serving files to your location didnt get cleared but the one serving my location did.

Its nearly impossible for me to guess what the problem is if I cant reproduce it on my side.

I’m asking you to try with another theme so we can rule out a kleo issue.

Kleo did not create the buddypress plugin. That’s why I’m telling you to contact them. kleo only stylizes the the buddypress output.

Those work. The times that people have had issues displaying the fields all ended up being plugin conflicts. Do a search here. Its been discussed and sample code has been provided.

Unless you know how to code there isn’t a simple way to do it. You can try a plugin but I have no idea how well one would work with kleo.

As you can see, there’s no option for that right now. You should request it in the Feature Request topic.

In the meantime, shortcodes aren’t that hard to write. First google for the code that will output a post count by category, then google how to make a shortcode.

Actually I just added it to my site and it did put the featured groups first in the display. So it works with Kleo.

Not sure why it wont work on your site. Contact the person who wrote the code.

The code was written in 2013. If you can prove that it actually works with the latest version of BP then I’ll have a look as to why it doesnt work with kleo. In other words, prove its a kleo issue.

Just a guess here but do you have top bar turned on but no menu assigned to it?

I havent made any suggestions nor will I. I have no idea what changes your dev made. Read what I said again. By default ALL files should be in kleo and only style.css and functions.php should be in kleo-child. There’s no reason to have any other files in kleo-child UNLESS they were changed for some reason.

At one point, this worked https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-users/ for buddypress. Which makes sense because buddypress users are WP users.

/assets/css/plugins.min.css shouldn’t be in kleo-child. Looking at the source code again and all of your files are being served from kleo-child. They shouldn’t be. kleo-child is only for changes.

You should have 2 themes installed.

Kleo: This should have *all* of the files and shouldnt be active. BUT IT NEEDS TO BE INSTALLED
Kleo Child: At a mininum it should only have 2 files. styles.css and fucntions.php. IT SHOULD BE ACTIVE.

How did you update? Did you ftp the files to the kleo child folder instead of the kleo folder like you should have?

The 3 sites I tested it on are all running the current version of BP and Kleo.

You can try copying /kleo/featured-content.php to your child theme and adding a check for logged in members.

I gave you a link that explains how to update. Please read it and follow the directions. I can not help you until you have updated since Kleo 2.4.1 will not work correctly with those old versions of the plugin. If you still have the issues after updating, then I will help.

By default, the groups carousel will not display hidden groups to someone who is not allowed to see them whether they are logged in or not. I’ve just tested and verified that this works on 3 of my sites. So, if its showing your hidden groups to people it shouldnt be showing them to, then either you have changed something or added a plugin that overrides default functionality.

The shortcodes no nothing of s2members settings since Kleo doesnt officially support it. If you want it to, you can request this in the feature request topic.

You need to flush your cache/cdn after updating. Your site is throwing 404 errors from your cdn.
