I used the manual update as per your instructions.
Everything seems fine now. I see that the update page under theme option is now deprecated and I have to use the Envato plugin.
I’ll see if everything goes fine with the next update.

    Thank you

    Hi Laura,

Is it a temporary solution or I cannot update automatically anymore?

    I will try later

    Ok, thanks.

I hope to see it implemented in a future release

    Hi Laura,

such a shame. I took for granted that it would be possible with a little effort. I was wrong.

I suggest using highlight element instead and just use 1 so it only show feature with category

I don’t get how it would be possible. I’m doing a page which displays maybe 50 posts from all categories all mixed together but ordered by date. Actually a simple blog page. There is no fixed position for one category. Post date order will place them inside the page.

Hereafter a page sample made with Photoshop. Right now the category is displayed as metadata below the image (yellow highlight) while I would like having the blue category label on post image (I added it with Photoshop).
I don’t understand how I can obtain a page like this with highlight element.

Anyway. Thank you for spending you time on my request.
In a future update It would be nice having an option on Post element to display category in this fancy way.

    Bye

Laura there is a misunderstanding with our language.

Where did I ask to change category label in a graphic?

The news highlight widget has an option to show a blue category label on the first post (only if at least one category is chisen). It’s a small blue flag with the category name inside. I know that it’s made via css.

I asked you if you can explain me how to have that blue category label on every post into the kleo post widget aka masonry grid.
I know that is a mod but you wrote that is feasible and you can guide me.

Laura I don’t understand what you mean in English.
    The only thing?

Masonry grid has no label at all

Ok, I’ve just renewed my support. On Envato there’s only six months support option.

Hello, yes, how do you want to style it? I can help you with some css ? Its not an image but the category name with a background color

Hi Laura, without reinventing the wheel, it’s ok having the blue label styled exactly as in your news highlight widget (see my previous attachment).

    PS

I have to renew my Kleo support subscription for one year but I cannot find a link through the site. Can you help me?

    Kelo supports it. See attached.

Do you have something installed that’s causing the issue?

I’m using Visual composer and <!– nextpage –> doesn’t work. it seems that VC removes it.
I tried to paste the tag outside of vc_row with classic editor but it doesn’t work either. I get the tag output as plain text.

    I still supported?
all of my website is made using VC and its’ widgets so I don’t know how to split a very long article.

I think it’s the Varnish cache that is not working with Kleo.
It works with basic WP theme.

BTW I find your support useless. One week to get “tweentyseventheen or tweentysixteen” and a link to a WP help page.

Currently I have bbpress and buddypress activated and I deactivated all their related plugin.
I will try to deactivate everything.

Regarding child theme. Which basic theme can I use to test bbpress and buddypress functionalities without Kleo?

I solved applying patiently again all the customization.
During the migration I lost only text strings inside the several text box in the theme settings. i.e. quick css, Contact form text and footer text widgets with html.

Now everything seems ok. Next time I will be more careful.

    Bye

    I saw.

Do you have an ETA on having caption on VC gallery and/or media grid?

    Thank you in advance

I do not have the old site anymore.

I read near all the tutorial about WP migration (even the official one) and no one mentioned to check for custom theme import/export options.

How I was supposed to know about it? RTFM as usual.

    Very disappointing

    Hi Radu,

I saw you released a new version of Kleo and i was reading its release notes…

Is the some news about the above problem?
Is there some place where I could see the expected behavior?

    Thank you in advance

    Hi Radu,

It works. Problem was originating by having a standard WP gallery and a media grid in the same post. Some js conflict. Now I have only the media grid and it works.

Of course even the media grid display only image titles nor caption or description.

I look forward to see image caption on lightbox in your image and media gallery

I’ve found how to remove sidebar on the registration page:

    https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/how-to-remove-sidebar-from-register-page

Then I successfully added an image to kleo/buddypress/members/register.php

Question is: will I lose my mods once on future Kleo updates?

    Thank you

Radu of course I’m using just one solution at the time.
    I’m using only:

    @media(min-width:992px;){
    .responsive-cols.per-row-4>* {width:24% !important;}
    }

    It doesn’t work.

Regarding the order i don’t understand you. Posts are sorted by date so wahy one post should change order respect to the others based on window size?

    Thanks

    Yes please.
I have to understand if I can trust on Kleo or I need to install another gallery and another lightbox or even switch to another theme before going live.

Hi Laura I have a plain Buddypress registration page. For the moment I did not use custom fields. So I need a captcha.

I need to add one image in the registration page. With you solution I guess once I update Kleo I will lose my changes. isn’t it?

    PS
For private topic I understand. To improve customer experience my suggestion is to remove them from our search results. It’s frustrating clicking on so many results and getting blank pages.

    Hi Radu,

No. It doesn’t work. It behaves as the video.

Moreover with both your solutions I see another strange behaviour of the grid: Post elements in the second row change order based on the window size.
Why posts change order if I set the “order by date” in grid settings?
