Hello. I deleted the buddypress folder and reinstalled it. It worked! Thank you very much for your help. I really appreciate it! Regards.
gnkechioParticipantHello. my Kleo theme is showing that I do not have the buddypress plugin installed, eventhough it is. As a result, the members, group, activity and community pages are all showing blank. I had this problem before and one of your 7th queen team members helped me fix it- I gave them admin. access. can you please tell me how to fix this? Please see the error message below. Thank you.

Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/momsm/mommysupermodel.com/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/
Plugin install failed.
Plugin not activated. A higher version of Buddypress is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I am having a weird situation with my site- the members, activity and community pages all went blank again. ( I had this problem before, but one of your team members helped me. I had to provide admin. access). Also, it shows that the Buddy press plugin is not installed- but it is. And when I try to install it again, it says that the link for that plugin already exists. Please give me some pointers on what to do. Thank you.
gnkechioParticipantHello sir. Thank you for the plugin suggestion, and I will take to my web host about the wp_mail. Thanks again for your help.
Regards.
gnkechioParticipantHello. Thank you very much for the fixes on my site. The rev. slider is working well now, as well as the members, activity, group and other pages.
***But I still would like to have new members activate their membership from their email, without getting the error message that they should enter an activation code. I needed this so that I could reduce the spam users from signing up.
A little suggestion for the future:
– Users still can’t add friends from their wall; they can only see their current friends. It appears that Kleo doesn’t support this feature for now. Please consider adding this in future updates.Sir, I want to express my appreciation for the support that you give your clients. Kleo is a beautiful and well-designed theme and your commitment to helping your clients get their sites to function properly makes your professionalism even more admirable. I will continue to recommend the Kleo theme to even more people. Keep up the good work.
Kind regards.
April 12, 2016 at 21:10 in reply to: rev. slider, adding friends, groups, forums members/activity/community pages #116064gnkechioParticipantHello Laura. It’s been 4 days since you responded to my post on this forum. Am I to assume that the 7th queen support team is still working on my questions, or should I just forget about it? This problem is going on about month, and I haven’t been able to receive any help from you guys. This is certainly not the reputation of 7th queen that I heard about.
Is this problem too hard to solve, or am I being ignored? Please keep in mind that my site is a live site.
Thanks
gnkechioParticipantHello Laura. I had already upgraded to Kleo 4.0.4, and all the other plugins are up to date. I’am looking into enabling the wp debug configuration. In the meantime, please kindly use the admin. credentials that I sent you to look at the member, activity and community pages, as they are all still blank and users still can’t add friends, groups or topics.
I know you said that you had fixed it last time, but I never got to see that because the site crashed that same day and when it was restored, the changes you made were lost. Also, I don’t know whether the disabling of the rev. slider affected some ff the changes you made.
– I also noticed that when I allow users to register directly into the site without the activation email, I get alot of spam users. I can’t seem to find a good spam plugin that won’t negatively intereact with other plugins that I need. I am tempted to go back to using the activation email, but I understand that buddypress has a flaw in that area.
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions that you might have.
Thank you.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I wonder if any of your support team members has seen my tickets? It’s been almost a week and I still haven’t received a response to any of the questions and tickets that I posted. There are no solutions in the forums or documentations. This is really frustrating.
gnkechioParticipantHello. Any suggestions to the questions I posed earlier? some of them were posed about a week ago, still no response. TIA
gnkechioParticipantThank you, but you didn’t answer my question on how users (subscribers) can add friends, groups, topics, forums, or send a private message. I have activated all these options, but still can’t see a link that allows users to do the above tasks. Even in your demo, I donot see a link to add friends, groups or forums. I know how to add groups as an admin., but how can the regular user do this? The admin can even add friends.
– Also: where is the title attribute? The current version of Kleo is a little different from documentation link that you sent ( https://archived.seventhqueen.com/documentation/kleo#menus).Thanks in advance for your time.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I have a question regarding videos that I upload to my site using rtMedia: how do I get the videos to automatically play when the post is uploaded? Currently, there is only a link that says “upload file”; it is only after the user clicks on this, that he/she can download and then view the video. How do I bypass this and have the video play automatically?
– Also, is there is way to have the user’s name and avatar to show at the menu bar like it does for the admin. and editors?
– I had sent a question earlier asking how I can get the user’s activity stream or the member’s page to show? LIke in this demo page? http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/members/kleoadmin/. I have tried using http://www.mommysupermodel.com/members, but it doesn’t work- it simply takes me to the membership levels, which is a blank page. Is there some short code or plugin that I can use?
– Also, once logged in, how can user’s access their personal activity page? As it stands, most users do not even know that there is such a page, and this kind of defeats the whole idea of a community site.I will greatly appreciate your help in solving this problem. Thank you.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I was able to resolve the page 404 error. Thanks for your help.
I have a different question: how can I set it so that after users log in, they are redirected to this page, like this Kleo demo seen here?:http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/members/kleoadmin/.
– upon login I want the users to be able to immediately see the activity page/stream.
– I have tried using http://www.mommysupermodel.com/members, but it doesn’t work- it simply takes me to the membership levels. Thanks again.
gnkechioParticipantHello. My site is a life site, so I’d be glad if you respond to my topics promptly. I thank you for the help thus far, but I need to quickly resolve this page 404 error problem. ALL the emails give a page 404 error. If a user registers to join the site, the page activation email link that they receive doesn’t work- it returns a page 404 error after they click on it. All other email activations have the same error. How do I fix this?
-Also, please tell me how to resend a new activation code to the users who had tried to log in earlier but failed.
Thanks in advance.gnkechioParticipantHello. I noticed that all of the email activations currently give a page 404 message. How do I fix this?
gnkechioParticipantThis is an example of a link that a user who had registered a new account, received in their inbox: http://www.mommysupermodel.com/activate/5e60ec29ac72638b0320d5fa607d2f9a/. After they clicked on the link, that they got a page 404 error. This is a busy week for my site, and I would greatly appreciate it if you can help me resolve this problem as soon as possible. Thank you!
gnkechioParticipantHello. I think I’ll leave out the peters-login-redirect plugin for now; I have done everything you suggested, but it still doesn’t work. In fact, I was able to get the redirect to work using the login redirect and the home page redirect. The only problem I have is what happens after the user logs out: after the user logs out, I would like the page to return to the home page from which they originally logged in. That is currently not the case: if a user logs out now, the screen stays on the last page that the user accessed while they were logged in. Thus, users who are not logged in can see the site’s content, if they had logged in earlier.
2. I also have a problem with one of our editors/contributors. When this contributor tries to add post an article (add new post), she gets this error message: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 94371840 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 6400 bytes) in /home/momsm/mommysupermodel.com/wp-admin/menu-header.php on line 161.
Thanks in advance for your help.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I have installed the Peters login redirect, and set up the restrictions for the various users and levels, but it’s still not working. It seems the site is not even recognizing the plugin. The restrictions that seem to work are the ones that I did from the theme options>miscellaneous page- but these are inadequate, as the user can still see the main menu and pages even after logging out.
After logging out, I want users to be redirected to the register page, where they originally signed in. But after logging out, this is the page that comes up:”http://www.mommysupermodel.com/home-2/?loggedout=true”.
– Also, I tried implementing the menu restriction using the general-header-section.php file like you suggested; but I couldn’t find the wp-content/themes/kleo-child/page-parts/ page. It keeps giving me a page 404 error.
Thanks in advance for any hints/suggestions.
gnkechioParticipantHello. Question: after a user logs out, how do I get the page to return to the register page? It currently shows content that I don’t want the unloged in user to see. Thanks in advance for your time.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I have removed the featured image and set it up like you suggested, and it looks better. I’m almost done with fixing the login/logout pages. Quick question: is there a way I can limit who can see/access the main menu? Is it possible to set it up so that only the logged in users can see the menus? I can’t seem to find anything to that effect. I also noticed that Kleo regards users and members as different. Thanks in advance.
gnkechioParticipantQuick question: after a user logs out, it is still possible for them to access the site. After logout, this page is still visible: http://www.mommysupermodel.com/membership-account/membership-levels/. I will keep working on it and checking the privileges I have set for the various pages; but I wonder if you have any suggestions? Thank you.
gnkechioParticipantApparently I had an older version of K-elements; I have upgraded, and everything is working just fine now. Thank you, so very much. I really appreciate you taking the time to walk me through this. This is just one more reason why I love this theme and will continue to recommend it to others. Thanks again, and God bless.
One little thing: I added a feature image on my register page, but it’s too large. I have tried resizing it, reducing the padding for the main menu/header, but nothing works. I would just like to reduce the image so that users don’t have to scroll down to see the login links. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Here’s my url:
gnkechioParticipantHello. I can’t find the “kleo register” option in the Visual editor. It seems I can find everything, but the one that I need. Any hints? Thanks.
gnkechioParticipantHello. the issue with the privacy is resolved. Now I need to make the landing “register” page look like the one in your demo- with the login fields visible. I think I need to add a form on the main page so that it shows both the Facebook login link, as well as the other fields for username/password/email, etc. Where are the Kleo short codes located? And how would I go about implementing this. Thanks for your time.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I really need help fixing the register landing page, as my site is live. Thanks.
gnkechioParticipantHello. I made post a few minutes ago, but I can’t find it on this thread. It have imported the Register page and made it my landing page. But users can still bypass this page without entering a username/password. This happens when the user clicks on “Create Account” or “Lost your password?”. Here are the links to those pages: http://www.mommysupermodel.com/register/ and http://www.mommysupermodel.com/my-account/lost-password/. How do I fix this, so that users can see these or any other pages unless they’re logged in. Thanks again for your help.
gnkechioParticipantYes, thank you, I have the API key; and I have imported the Register page. Now how do I make the “register” page my landing page, instead of the current one? My site is a community site, so “Home default” is the current landing page. Thanks.
gnkechioParticipantYes, I entered my username and purchase code on the “theme update” page. I am not sure that the purchase code and the API key are the same; if they aren’t, how can I get it? There used to be a link on Envato/themeforest page, but looks like it was moved. Please clarify how to obtain the API key (if it’s different from the purchase code). Thank you.

gnkechioParticipantHello. I followed the directions on the link above; unfortunately the Kleo theme wasn’t among the list of available theme updates- the only theme listed was Twenty Sixteen, together with some other plugins. I would rather not use the FTP option to make this update. Is there anything else that I can do? Thank you.
gnkechioParticipantOk- I will delete the duplicate pages; ;hopefully I won’t lose important info, or affect the performance of the site in any way.
– Please tell me how to upgrade to the latest version of Kleo. I assume that all my data will be in place after the upgrade? I have already downloaded it; how do I proceed? Thanks in advance. -
