Cheers Radu, one more question, I’m clicking on all the pencil icons but I can’t find the overlay colour/opacity – could you give me another nudge in the tight direction 🙂

1. Is there an easy way to resize/crop background images?

Quick second question is it possible that menu/navigation tabs could only be available to logged in members i.e. no menu on landing page?
Oh! Does that also apply to the fact that blog post comments aren’t showing up on the ‘everything’ activity feed? Is that also the intended method?
Hi, sorry I should have posted an update. Late last night I eventually got my blog posts to appear in the activity stream, but with the filter set to ‘everything’ none of the comments are showing. However if I switch the filter to comments they do. I am trying to get a set up where if a comment is posted under a blog/post it appears at the top of the ‘everything’ activity feed.
Secondly, if someone comments on something in the feed at the moment it attaches itself to it way down the feed (so if someone replies/comments on another members 4 week old update, the comment appears 4 weeks down the stream and does not push to the top). This seems to flow against site interaction, so if you can solve any of my comment issues I would be really grateful 🙂

Hi Laura, under header ‘MAIN SECTION’ – if I put code before final ?> it creates a 500 error. Am I putting it in the right place?
Hi Laura, thank you very much for the code. It worked perfectly on all my pages (see png 1) except the home page, where it appears at the very top and blocks out the site name (see png. 2). Is it possible to exclude the home page?

Did you add that via the ‘add slider template’ box? If I add directly from the kleo files stored on my laptop that seems to work but as soon as I try add from that template box it asks for a corresponding zip file and I’m not sure where to find that. But thanks for the e-learning slide.
It took me 24 hours but I think I’m eventually getting there (especially once I’d stopped staring at the endless lines of code and found the backend icons)! One last question. I still can’t download any of revolution slider templates. It keeps asking for corresponding zip file but doesn’t like what I attach. Is that feature not available through Kleo or where should I be looking for it?

I did read #1 for #3!!! Think I need more sleep. I thought there may be some demo content that automatically populated the site but I’ll work on filling it. So …. do I just go front end editor > and then hoover over the sections and edit in the pop up boxes?
🙂 I can hardly understand what I mean myself.
1. In the new revolution format, when you click on add slider template, there are a number of options: news gallery post based template being one of them (see attached png 1)
2. I’ve found the ticker tape, now you’ve pointed me in the right direction.
3. Below the slider, what I have is some ad space adverts and not much else (see attached png 2) as opposed to your demo (see attached png 3 and 4)
Cheers, I’m making progress! I now have a working slider! Its a little dominant so how can I decrease its size, so it’s more inline with the news gallery post based template slider.
Secondly, how do I get a ticker tape and thirdly (!) how do I get the content layout your demo has below the slider.

Hi, I must be missing some other step. I have specified recent and popular posts but nothing is showing. No slide, no ticker tape, no blogs etc. Maybe I’ll try deleting everything and starting from scratch. Is there any dummy content for news-magazine?

Re. Point 2. I have added the code in theme options > general settings > quick css and cleared cache but there is no difference to site appearance.

Hi Laura, I’ve resolved this it was a combination of random characters in functions.php and the memory limit being defined twice in the wp-config.php file. My only issue now is that notifications keep popping up over and over and don’t stop. Also if you have a link to a tutorial that shows how to over/underlay an image on to your ‘get connected’ particles that would be great.
